[__ Prayer __] Prayer for missing 8 year old boy

Please pray for little Robert Manwill who disappeared from his mother's Boise home last Friday night. Hundreds of volunteers are looking for him, and the police have interviewed all the registered sex offenders in the neighborhood. There is just no sign of him.

Police say that his family are being co-operative and no one in his family are considered connected to his disappearance in any way.

Pray for this little boy and his family. :crying
 
Please continue to pray as Robert is still missing.

There have been more news reports, but as they have been speculative and subjective, I'm not really wanting to relate the details they've given. But, one thing is known for sure and that this precious boy needs to be found.
 
If he was abducted I ask that you bring strong conviction upon them to bring the
boy back.. or if the worse we're to happen they would turn themselves in.

:crying The police pulled a body of a boy the same age as Robert out of a canal today. They have neither confirmed nor denied that it is Robert, pending the autopsy tomorrow. But, as there are no other missing children reported....

The police chief did request that all keep Robert's family in our prayers.
 
Dear Father, I am praying for the safe return of this little boy., and wherever he may be right now please keep him safe from harm. Please give the family the strength and courage that they need in this trying time. In Jesus name amen :pray

It was confirmed today that the body was Robert's. The police are continuing the investigation. There is no determination at this time whether or not this is an accident, a homicide or whatever.

Please continue to pray for the family. If it was a homicide, then I want the guilty convicted, but a lot of people are "convicting" folks even though there is no determination that a crime has even happened.

I do praise God, since this dear little child is now gone, that his body was found and brought home. As a parent, I would take more comfort in knowing, rather than wondering forever what might have happened.
 
I'm so sorry to hear that he died. To say that he is in a better place sounds so cliche, but it is so true. Thank you for keeping us updated, Dora.
 
The coroner has determined that Robert died as a victim of homicide. This isn't exactly surprising as they had found evidence of a possible "tragic event" (police chief's words) before they found the body.

Please keep the detectives and the family in prayer. I truly pray that the person who did this terrible thing will be brought to justice.

People who are sick and twisted like that will not stand happy at the judgment bar of god. :mad
As for that 8 year old boy. He will go to heaven and his family will see him again in the next life. I believe that with my heart!

Yes, life is eternal. We live on and on after earth life, even though we ofttimes lose sight of that great basic truth.
 
Today the grand jury indicted and the police arrested Robert's mother and live in boyfriend. There had been some speculation before about the two of them as both had some convictions regarding child abuse in the past, although nothing as serious as this. Also, in the midst of the search for Robert, police did find evidence that something had happened to Robert in his mother's home. Do pray for Robert's father in all of this. He had custody of Robert and Robert was only with his mother because of court appointed visitation.

I want the truth to come out, I really do. If they are innocent, I hope that that will be clear to the jury and they will be let off.

If they are guilty, then I hope they get the harshest sentence as possible. They stood there day after day as the police gave press releases and watched as family members broke down and begged that if anyone knew anything to please come forward. Then the poor little body being dumped in a canal. :verysad

Well, I don't want to convict these people by way of public opinion. They have the right to be considered innocent until the jury makes it's decision. I'll watch the trial and keep folks posted. Pray for the jury and prosecutors, that they will present evidence in such a way that there will be no shadow of doubt either way.
