Growth Prayer

I've had seven major operations in the last 15 years, I rarely ever get sick, in debt up to my ears and have been through my own war zone being physically and mentally abused, but I have always trusted God to bring me through it all as it's the trials and tribulations we go though in this life that strengthens our faith and trusting God in all things because I know He already knows my needs and I thank Him for meeting each and every one.

But you don't talk to him and ask him to help you?

I talk to God, but have no need to ask for help as He already knows my heart and my needs before I even ask. When a situation comes up I only have to stand on His promises and thank God for meeting my needs as He provides all that I do need.

It's called submitting and knowing God's will in every aspect of my life. What I want is not always what I need as God knows best for me in my time of need.

My husband and I were opposite blood groups. Only one of our four babies survived after birth. She was 10 weeks old and it had just gone 1am on New Years day when she woke. As I nursed her i thought of how she had suffered for the first 5 weeks of her life. I prayed she would never suffer again. A few hours later I found her and she had passed away. Did God answer my prayer??
I did not pray for her to die. But I believe God did answer my prayer. How could anyone go through life without suffering? We adopted 2 children perhaps that was what God wanted.
