Private Accusations Against Your Pastor is a Sin
Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 5:19 – “Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.” The office of an elder (pastor) is one that must be respected. God has called that person to that office and anyone who has an accusation against that man must be extremely careful in how that accusation is carried out. The Devil uses false accusations to harm pastors and their ministries, therefore, when a pastor is confronted with a sin it must be handled very carefully.
BEWARE: The one who accuses the pastor must do so in the proper manner. Paul said that accusations are to be made against a pastor in his presence with two or three witnesses. This is to be done in order to provide accountability and protection for the pastor in such accusations. This allows for the accusation to be heard, investigated, and substantiated before it goes before the entire church.
This statement by Paul completely outlaws accusations that are made privately in the form of gossip, text messages, e-mails, anonymous blogs, or over the phone behind the pastor’s back. Those types of accusations are nothing more than slanderous attacks against the office of elder (pastor) and God takes that type of thing very seriously. That is why Paul speaks of this in 1 Timothy 5:19.
There are always people eager to falsely accuse a man of God. They may do so because they resent his calling, reject his teaching, resist biblical authority, resent virtue, or are jealous of the Lord’s blessing on his life. Ultimately, however, they demonstrate by making such accusations that they have become messengers of Satan. Such false accusations are one of his most dangerous weapons. Joseph, Moses, David, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, and our Lord Jesus Christ all suffered from false accusations (The MacArthur New Testament Commentary, 1 Timothy, 221).
Hebrews 13:17 says, ” Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” It is an unprofitable thing to reject and undermine the leadership of your pastor according to the writer to the Hebrews. Anyone who seeks to gossip against or attack their pastor behind his back should be viewed as one who is in clear violation of God’s Word and a tool of Satan.
This includes any Pastor, preacher any SERVANT OF GOD !!
That has been my point.....When asked why you say these things...you quote scriptures and that did not say they were false teachers.......You quote a little piece of a sermon or message and expect this to say...omg lookie lookie false teacher......
You took Brother Copeland out of context.......as just one point to my calling this stuff out.......
If you are going to accuse a servant of God with such harsh judgment.....you better have real proof and you better take it before our Heavenly Father before you ever open your mouth and speak such accusations......you will answer to Him for it every single time....

While many physical years has a certain nice sound to it, eternity has a much greater value . The symbols of the physical contain truth. The symbols are not the ultimate goal though. When the stars fall from heaven and the earth is consumed with fire, I suppose my tractor, garden, physical geneology, friends will all be gone with it. The only things left will be the eternal things stored up in heaven.
I can use Psalms 90 to pray for all the physical things in life, but I realize the prayers for the eternal far outweigh the physical. Thank God for the way they did creation. Creation is like a teaching manual to know the things of God. Kidneys keep my body detoxed. Holy Spirit and Jesus's intercession work on my spiritual eternal self,
As long as Jesus Christ is taught I will rejoice. I suppose there are some errors in a lot of churches that need fixing. A lukewarm mush is not what I am suggesting. Going in and yanking out tares before the harvest will uproot the wheat. There are God's children under false teaching. Let us water, hoe the weeds (respectfully with undrstanding, and wait for the harvest to burn the tares. I have to tell myself this alll the time. Teach the truth.

The thing that some of the people who mock some teachers and claim stuff about faith teachers or those who teach on prosperity tend to speak out of ignarance. Your post is not what I am talking about....
What I am talking about is stuff like all they teach is taking your money or getting rich to the prosperity message....
They are so wrong....sure wealth is a part of prosperity, but it is only a piece of the pie. The whole pie would includes slices of propsering in your health which is taught in the same message and soul and relationships and so on....They speak from hear say and reguard the entire teaching.......

Fish catching is good. Let me mess with you some more. Ok. Fish catching is getting people saved ( coming to the knowledge of sin and repenting, and then, coming to the knowledge of the salvation Christ Jesus provided, and then receiving Holy Spirit in order to witness.
Sharks are not nice. Can a shark get saved? The Gentiles were utterly without God and undone. Yet they were grafted in.
I really would love to see a way to accept what Jesus did and combine the best of all of us into that one new man.
The one new man is accomplished in Christ.

Jesus said take head *no* man decieves you. This includes false elders.
You can deny the irrefutably wolfish pastors all you want. Everything is in context. Can't take it outta context.
The scriptures don't say "you can not at all dare question authority because judging is a bad bad thing."
Be sober.

Don't just haphazardly and irresponsibility accept anyone that says there of God. Now that is not scriptural.

I haven't read all the posts, but I think this is how the life of a believer should be, IF IF IF they are in obedience to the Lord. This was made apparent in the OT when God spoke to His people and said things - if only you will obey me, I will keep you safe, not the only verse that says it, but here is one:
Leviticus 25:18 Follow my decrees, and be careful to obey my laws and you will live safely in the land
Sometimes He allows things to happen so we grow and mature spiritually, too. If we are in a bad situation, he doesn't necessarily take us out, but he will walk us through it. Amen!

So reba can you share your research with every one and show us how you come to this ? I am not being a smart BUTT Reba.....That accusation is pretty harsh and should be backed with real facts...
You know every time someone mentions prosperity message they go off on this rampage about oh those money greedy false teachers just taking poor old cant pay their bills people.....
If asked what is the teaching about...they say getting money....Now that is so sad...A true teaching on prosperity is NOT just money....When some one says this they are NOT incoerrect just incomplete for Prospering is all through the old and new Testament. In the true teachings........We are taught about prospering in your health....your relationships, your job and so forth. Finances is just one piece of the pie....God said He desires the we would prosper even as our sould prospers......You will find prosperity all through the written word of God.....
I am not saying that some have not messed up.....But they were brought down but yet those who most accuse these days are strong.Why is that?
