Pumpkin season again! carving pumpkins...

PS: Up here in Canada there was recently Canadian Thanksgiving and you see lots of pumpkins and they are not necessarily linked with druids, and the occult at all.

The poor woman with the horrible burns all over her body distracts me more than anything else in the video. Then the guy giving the devil horns sign with his hands.

I gotta be honest with you, these aren't pumpkins you can take to church.

Well, I guess we can try to concentrate on the pumpkins, the main subject.

Also some of us folk on the thread thought it would be nice to do as a church craft activity for fall, like for a Friday supper..

yeah,long before I was into my jewish heritage I did read up on my irish side. the country music is actually from irish influence.

Did you find anything bad in the video? I hadn't noticed. Jethro thought he had found something bad.

I thought it was a cool video about carving pumpkins, (which are also my wife's favorite).

farouk, that is a bunch of horrow stuff that I wouldn't let a kid under 6 see. it might scare them. older maybe but in church., definitely NO. I thought that was harmless and didn't watch the video its for adults not kids!

I mean yeah It wouldn't bother me but well one of the flash images on a tshirt on the tattooed man is also a tat that I was thinking about! do we really want to do demons? that is what the original Halloween was about. they did do that stuff but that was behind the laterns

Yes, well most of the video is done by the pleasant lady presenter demonstrating the pumpkin carving; the very brief guy bit I had hardly paid any attention to, to be honest...

I watched it for 40 seconds and I saw the carvings. its not good to do in church. Christian horror? what if they did blood? and gore? its almost there already. I don't care if you watch that. its not for church.

Yes, well ppl would have to decide how they want to learn pumpkin carving, whether via such tools as videos as this, or else somehow else.

Most of the video is of the lady carving with a stencil, in the second part of the clip.

You're referring to the guy briefly shown in the clip? rather than the lady?

I guess if one goes to Europe one may see strange faces carved on cathedral gargoyles, etc., but it's understood to be architecture, I suppose... (But what do I know?)

the gothic art on the notre dame and other cathedrals? that's nothing compared to that video. besides one would have to be real close to see them gargoyles.

I guess any face carved on a pumpkin is likely to look a bit unreal...

But in the fall it's regarded as good fun, and I just found the clip interesting anyway.

(Pumpkins are my wife's favorite in any case...)

Please, let's not turn this thread into a debate on how satanic Halloween is. The OP is carving pumpkins, not how evil Halloween is.
Short and to the point, if you want to discuss the evil's of Halloween, then please create a new thread and allow those who enjoy carving pumpkins enjoy talking about carving pumpkins.

As far as pumkin carving, I found these. Thought they would be pretty cool!
