Pursuing after miracles

Should we pursue after miracles? Signs and wonders.

Christ didn't rest. He kept performing miracles :shrug :confused

I'm torn. I've experienced miracles, before and after becoming a Christian, so its kind of unfair for me to say "we shouldn't pursue miracles," or "we should simply pray for God's Will." At the same time, sometimes I think there can be too much emphasis on expecting God to do what we think is best, and not accepting and working with what happens. So, I don't know, lol.

Not a good answer, I know, but hey--I'm a Baby Christian.

I pursue deliverance and healing. I fully believe that Jesus can do these things. But often I have to wait on HIS timing!

Nice of you, Edward. However do lack of faith (and patience) have something in common with pursuing miracles.

By his stripes we are healed. The cross redeemed us in more than life. Health, prosperity, and life. This is Gods will for it is written. It is already payed for upon the cross. So praise God and thank Him for your healing before you even receive it. Believe that you will receive it. You will. Have faith. according to your faith it will be so.

Good morning Edward,

In this passage I read the word “healed” to mean saved.

1 Peter 2:24 (ESV), “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”

Be blessed.

The mission of The Christ does not change when we accept His invitation to join Him.

It is Good to Sing Praises to Our God
…The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.…

Exodus 15:26
He said, "If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

Psalm 6:2
Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint; heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony.

Psalm 34:18
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 41:4
I said, "Have mercy on me, LORD; heal me, for I have sinned against you."

Psalm 107:20
He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

click the link and scroll down. On the right side are the sermons. Start at the top one, click your format you wish to view it in and then scroll back up to the media player and watch. I always open bibleGateway in another window so when he calls out a scripture I can read along with him. He's not like most preachers who give you 5 seconds to look it up, he's very cool about that, and you'll have plenty of time to bring up the scripture and listen to him while you read along.

Enjoy. There's over twenty of them and just riddled with scripture to back it up. I like this Brother Keith, he has good delivery and God bless his ministry. He changed my mind about a lot of things. I never believed the name it and claim it healing preachers, but I do now. It's scriptural.

Thanks! I'm excited to what I might learn!

Made it through a few of them yet? Man, I love that man, Brother Keith's delivery. That man is on fire and captivating. He has good energy. God bless his ministry.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

Is not it amazing that the same Spirit of God that was moving upon the face of the waters was also curing people from diseases, through Jesus Christ?
