The reason the world is not seeing Jesus is that Christian people are not filled with Jesus. They are satisfied with attending meetings weekly, reading the Bible occasionally, and praying sometimes. It is an awful thing for me to see people who profess to be Christians lifeless, powerless, and in a place where their lives are so parallel to unbelievers’ lives that it is difficult to tell which place they are in, whether in the flesh or in the Spirit.

Believers are strong only as the Word of God abides in them.

Great faith is the product of great fights

Great testimonies are the outcome of great tests

Great triumphs can only come out of great trials

A man is in a great place when he has no one to turn to but God.

Some people read their Bibles in Hebrew, some in Greek; I like to read mine in the Holy Ghost.

You must every day make higher ground. You must deny yourself to make progress with God. You must refuse every- thing that is not pure and holy. God wants you pure in heart. He wants you to have an intense desire after holiness... Two things will get you to leap out of yourselves into the promises of God today. One is purity, and the other is FAITH, which is kindled more and more BY PURITY.

I am not moved by what I see. I am moved only by what I believe.

The devil knows if he can capture your thought life he has won a mighty victory over you.

You have to bring your mind to the Word of God and not try to bring the Word of God to your mind.

It is better to live ready than to get ready!

while not required,translations are great but sometimes the only way to see what the original was like .its good.

no paragraphs like in English ,1 peter is one long sentence in Greek .syntax is not the same .

It's only good if one can fluently read the Hebrew or Greek as I am sure we would get a better understanding then the English, but yet it is the Holy Spirit that reveals all truths.

English. versions we have more of them in any language .

I hear ya as there are way to many and some not being very good versions. I'll stick with my good ole KJV and continue to look up the meaning of certain words in the Hebrew and Geek.

I have listened to some of his sermons and like how he preached in so much truth.

you do know the manuscript of the kjv isn't the best for the new testament ,a better one was found later .

It is good enough for me as no matter what Bible version one chooses it's the Holy Spirit that needs to be teaching us all truths.

When I study I leave out chapter, verse numbering and punctuation and read them as in the letters they were written in. Makes a hugh difference in understanding, especially when you look up the meanings of words in the Hebrew and Greek.
