That's what we all need to strive to be. By that I mean virtuous.
With God's grace we can walk alongside others instead of judging them.
Some may appreciate a Bible verse or two. But many or most just need a kind ear. A respectful presence.
They don't need lectures. They don't need eternal damnation threats. They need to restore hope and avoid despair. They want a meaning to their lives. A kind ear, or kind word will help them see this world is not all gloom and doom. Some people really do care. They may become attracted to the Light. And hopefully that true Light is coming from you.

How's this one? Is the following over the top?
"Real Christians are so in love with Jesus Christ, they can't wipe the smile off their face?"
They can't help but transfer that love to others....
If that really is true, I need to work on my smileability. ?

I think others may feel the same. It is a different kind of love. It's spiritual and holy.
The purest kind of love anyone could have and extremely deep.

So it's easier for women to love Jesus. As he is the opposite sex. It feels like a marriage made in Heaven.

Jesus was a man. The apostles leant on His shoulder. It was pure love.
Think of the love you had for your dad.
Does Jesus have gender as God?

Yes that"s the kind of love! That's how we love Gid. Our heavenly Father, our God.

To the extent that we experienced real love as a child, means we've had a glimpse of Jesus already. I like what I've witnessed so far. If that was Jesus' love.

Well there is no better love than that of God. All that suffering He went through, every ounce of blood was shed. Jesus is pure radiance.

I may need to have the same perspective as you on this. I don't focus much on Jesus' physical suffering.

Did you ever have the stations of the cross? That is what really made me think of how much Jesus suffered. I was at school then and I wanted to reach out and touch Him, comfort Him , and take His pain away. I have loved Him ever since.

I think too much. Because I compare other people's suffering...which seems just as bad or worse. Like those kidnapped and tortured for days until death.

Essentially Jesus was tortured to death. That should make anyone who is tortured to death, share His suffering, therefore united with God in the afterlife.

God will avenge for them.
