This is not going to be a debate, but I'm just interested to know what are some reasons that you guys believe that Christianity is the true religion (or, in other words, why you're a Christian). For example, is it because of a certain spiritual experience that you had at one time of your life? Or that there was something that you prayed for and then you got it and you felt it being answered in your heart? Furthermore, did you feel that your faith gradually increased the more you read the Bible and the more you learned about it's history?
When it comes to religion, those are some important and fundamental questions which I think all believers should ask themselves including myself (since I'm a Muslim). And that being said, some of you may have no answers to such questions, though, if you're a Christian who simply believes in Christianity without having any rational explanation behind it, but that's okay, too.
Most non-believers often tend to think that our religious views developed from our upbringing and social conditioning by our parents and therefore has little to do with our own genuine search for the truth. Although that may be true for some religious people, at the same time, I think that there are also many of them whose beliefs have mostly grown from their own reflection and less based upon external influences. If you think that your faith falls under the latter category, then I would just like to know what kind of arguments, knowledge, and/or personal experiences made you come to that position. That's all.
