I think this is a nice chart. For people who do not know this information.

I see what you mean, although I wouldn't use the term throne, which would seem to indicate sovereignty.

Actually this was about tomatoes... :)

Blessings.

Nice, handy chart, Kathi ... thanks for sharing.

About bananas: separate them when you get them home; it will help retard ripening.

Potatoes keep longer in a cooler location, such as a crisper in the frig.

Hmm....I did not know that about bananas. Thanks :)

But I do not think I would like my melons warm. But I have read that they are healthier for you when they are warm.

During the cold weather recently, we kept bananas in the trunk of the car by mistake, and they came out black... :)

Blessings.

I once refrigerated bananas by mistake and they turned black too.

Those bananas are fine for bread or muffins.... They are a bit different in texture. We are far from a store so i often freeze them just to use later in muffins..

They are fine if frozen or not spoiled

Yes,I imagine that they would be.I like my bananas very ripe for baking.

I once came home from the grocery store and was in a hurry, so I put the whole bag in the refrigerator, intending to sort things later. Of course I forgot about until the next day. That's how I found out you shouldn't put bananas in the refrigerator.
