If you are made the president of a country would you allow religious freedom (Islam particularly etc) if one does not exist at all.? Assume the country is newly created. What is your opinion as a Christian?

God set an example we are cowards to follow when He ordered Israel to purify the land. I will go out on a limb and will declare we are witnessing the stage being set for the Great Tribulation, seven years of Hell on earth with the present Islamic invasion that has spread over the entire planet. No, we must kill them all and we are cowards and will not so they are killing us.

There will be no freedom of religion in the kingdom of heaven.

When Israel had an OT theocracy, there was no freedom of religion either.

Same here...I would definitely allow it....Jesus never said or tried to impose Himself on anyone and did not recommend it....when the kingdoms of the world were offered to Him He refused them...His time is in His time!

Theocracy doesn't exist other than as a fallacy of man. If we do return to a theocracy, we might expect the same as was experienced in the blender of Rome and the (pseudo) church that we had prior.

The injustices of those men imposed upon the populace through torture and killing.

I don't envy any leader, having to deal with the lawlessness of the population. It's just a universal issue and problem, the sin, in mankind.

It isn't and never was meant to have a pleasant/peaceful resolution, for that side of the ledgers. So, I'm not expecting that from our system or anyone else's.

The somewhat scary part of the BIBLE is that God Himself actually RAISED enemies to Israel. It wasn't so that Israel would kill them, but to punish Israel for their own iniquities, and to place them in captivity, as shown with Babylon for example.

"religious right" is a term used to refer to a political movement here in America. It is a false movement as is the "religious left". Both of these sides deceive the Christian population exploiting a part of the body of Christ using one or two doctrinal issues to get people to vote for one or another "politician"....for example....a "Rightist" may say they are against abortion so millions vote for them, but at the same time they oppress the poor and the needy....another may represent feeding the poor so millions vote for them, but in disguise they chain people to centralized secular government controls and privacy invasion....

There will always be a conservative/liberal dichotomy but orthodoxy is both....I am for free expression of all and any ideas and opinions (snallest government possible) and against abortion...but I also whole heartedly beleive the Lord wants us to feed the poor, house the homeless, heal the sick....Christians should either be Libservatives or Coniberals....better yet only have allegiance to His kingdom (we are not OF this world)

I doubt very much that is the call of the Gospel, Bill.
Smaller,
The Gospel is contained within the Bible and the Bible is the entire Word of God and the context of the Word of God runs, in one continuous flow from Gen. 1:1 through the very last Amen of Rev. 22. Therefore, just like the book I'm writing, you cannot extract a set of passages and understand the book and the same is true of God's Word.

If you choose not to preemptively strike to protect your grandchildren, that is your choice not to follow what God has taught us but I have yielded my life to the Father and the four Gospels, along with the other twenty-three books of the misnamed New Testament are largely Commentaries on the Bible Jesus and Paul taught from, the Jewish Bible.

God did not rewrite the Bible and there are no conflicting passages in the scriptures from beginning to end. If we look outside the scriptures to find a reason why God would have ordered the extermination of the tribes of Canaan we find Archaeologists have determined that people group was filled with STDs, God was protecting His family, should we do less?

Please download the pdf copy of the Qu'ran and read it and then read some history on Mohamed or at least google 164 Jihad verses. They are dead set on converting or murdering your babies and you and God would not have, willingly, stretch your neck out for them.

When Jesus returns it will be a Theocracy.

Romans 12:21
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Brother, Christians, the Saved men and women composing the Church Jesus saved have a relationship, not a religion. All religions are false.

And it is not good to protect your children and grandchildren? Remember, one context.

Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Again, all of the Word of God before trying to understand. (Due. 20:17)
