Restoration Theology

Greetings again RBDERRICK,

I am not really interested in trying to answer all aspects of your reply.
No problem.

I consider man is an animal created with the capacity to receive Divine ideas, and develop the Divine Character.
I see. You trust in natural theology and philosophy.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1Co 1:21

I just believe the Bible and do that.

Jesus was and is the greatest fulfilment of this potential,
He was God in the flesh, not man become a God.

Man in his natural state without much education, or the ameliorating effects of spiritual teaching and development can be very brutal and cruel.
The only education keeping man from being beasts, is believing the words of God as written, and doing them.

Most education of man in the theologies and philosophies lead to civilized ungodliness at best, and evil brutishness at worst.

Much of mankind can be considered the seed of the serpent because they follow the lies of the serpent and the lusts of the flesh govern their lives. The seed of the woman includes those who have received spiritual enlightenment and follow Divine ways.
Since you're not tinterested in any corrections from the Bible, then I'll not be offering any more.

Yes, we are simply animals,

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Co 2:14

of a higher order than the other animals,
Intellect is not what separates man from the beasts of the fields, since intellect can reduce man to being more unnaturally corrupt than any beast of the field.

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Jde 1:10
