Revelation 3:10, The Church Will Be Present On Earth And Protected During The Earth's Final Hour Of Temptation.

The hour of the earth's temptation is in the final hours of the future tribulation and second coming of Jesus Christ, as Isaiah 26:20-21below instructs the believer's to enter their dwellings and close the door, while the indigination/temptation passes. Just like the passover in Egypt.

Revelation 3:10 is not a secret rapture to heaven, as is falsely taught in dispensationalism.

Isaiah 26:20-21KJV
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

The Final Hour Of Earth's Temptation Below

Revelation 16:12-17KJV
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I agree with this. These pretrib teachers and their pocket lining best sellers try to use Rev 3:10 and Rev 4:1-4 to prove a quiet pretrib secret rapture, but nowhere does it say anything about a pretrib. What Jesus spoke and was written in Matthew 24:29-31 and John 6:40 could stand alone to show Christ does not return until the seventh trumpet is sounded. Actually, Isaiah 26:20-21 is also a cross reference for what Jesus said in Matthew 24:15-21.

I agree that the Church will be here at the coming of the Lord.

  • The Church is resurrected and Raptured at His coming.

  • we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

The antichrist is also destroyed at His coming.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

Once a person understands these three significant things that occur at His coming, the conclusion is obvious.

Matthew 24:29-30 (MEV)

"Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days,
‘the sun will be darkened,
the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."
