Riddle of Armageddon Meaning Solved: Solution Hiding in Plain Sight.

Ἅρ Μαγεδών. No convincing interpretation has as yet been given of this phrase, which should probably be translated “the mountains of Megiddo.” The city Megiddo was notable as the scene where Barak and Deborah overthrew the forces of Sisera by “the waters of Megiddo” (Judg. 5:19–21).-Charles, R. H. (1920). A critical and exegetical commentary on the Revelation of St John (Vol. 2, p. 50). Edinburgh: T&T Clark International.
The “mountain (02022 הַר har) of Megiddo” doesn’t exist, it is figurative for the heavens above Megiddo, similar to the heavenly “mount (02022 הַר har) of the congregation” (Is. 14:13) where the angels of God reside. God’s angels in the skies above Megiddo (Isa. 24:21; Rev. 6:13; Dan. 10:13, 20; Rev. 12:7) will fight from the heavens against the Beast and his forces at Megiddo on earth, just as God’s angels once fought for Israel against Sisera:

"The kings came and fought; Then fought the kings of Canaan At Taanach near the waters of Megiddo; They took no plunder in silver.
"The stars fought from heaven, From their courses they fought against Sisera. (Jdg. 5:19-20 NAU)
Figurative use

The LORD descended upon Mount (02022 הַר har) Sinai but spoke "from heaven" (Exod. 20:22); "the mountain (02022 הַר har) burned with fire to the midst of heaven" (Deut. 4:11 NKJ); "The LORD shone forth from Mount (02022 הַר har) Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints" (Deut. 33:2); "the showers of the mountains (02022 הַר har)" Job. 24:8; "The Holy One from Mount (02022 הַר har) Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens" (Hab. 3:3 NKJ).

3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger-- Those who rejoice in My exaltation."
4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters The army for battle.
5 They come from a far country, From the end of heaven-- The LORD and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land.
6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man's heart will melt,
8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it.
10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine.
11 "I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger. (Isa. 13:3-13 NKJ)

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.
21 It shall come to pass in that day That the LORD will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth.
22 They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished.
23 Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the LORD of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously. (Isa. 24:20-23 NKJ)

12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,
16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
17 "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" (Rev. 6:12-17 NKJ)
This fits the context. The inspired BIG LIE "strong delusion" causing world-wide rebellion against all called God or worshiped (2 Thess. 2:3-12) is "ancient alien theory", symbolized by "flying-frogs" in Revelation 16:13. The "Kings of the Sunrising" entered our realm via the figurative "great river Euphrates", "dried up" symbolizing God's removing His restraint of spiritism, the "second woe" (Rev. 9:12). This demonic cavalry slew the third of the earth that once professed Christianity but who joined the Beast and took his Mark. These Nephilim Kings are the "mighty" (2478 ἰσχυρός ischuros) slain at Armageddon (Isa. 24:21; Rev. 19:18 ["Men" isn't in the text, its supplied by translators.]).

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east (395 ἀνατολή anatole) might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (Rev. 16:12-16) KJV
Rev. 19:11-20:3 confirms this is cosmic war is fought outside the city of Jerusalem (Rev. 19:18-20; Zech. 14:1-7, 12-17). The Beast's army fills the entire region, from the glorious Mountain (Dan. 11:45; Joel 3:9-17) to the Mediterranean Sea.

Megiddo’s Location
• Megiddo is located in northern Israel, in the Jezreel Valley, approximately 25 km (15 miles) southeast of the Mediterranean Sea.
• It lies along a major trade route, the ancient Via Maris (Way of the Sea), which connected Egypt to Mesopotamia. This strategic location made it the site of many historic battles.
The "Glorious Mountain" (Daniel 11:45)
• The phrase “glorious mountain” is traditionally interpreted to refer to Mount Zion (Jerusalem), which holds religious and prophetic significance in the Bible as God’s dwelling place.
• Mount Zion is about 80 km (50 miles) south of Megiddo, making Megiddo a midpoint between Jerusalem and the Mediterranean Sea.
The Mediterranean Sea (Daniel 11:45)
• The Mediterranean Sea is referred to as “the great sea” in biblical texts (e.g., Numbers 34:6).
• Megiddo is situated east of the Mediterranean Sea, in proximity to the Carmel mountain range, which runs parallel to the sea.

(Rev. 16:13-16) KJV

Lots of reasons why Frogs repesent the Big Lie evil spirits induce belief in, they are "unclean" according to the Law of Moses; They reveal the end time delusion involves the UFO phenomena we see today, "flying frogs".

In the video I propose another reason, the endtime UFO invasion will begin from beneath the sea, USO's will startle the earth rising from the oceans to display themselves in our skies.

Perhaps this is why oceans will not exist in the New Earth.

I admit this is sheer speculation and could be 100% wrong.

Have you ever considered the war of Gog and Magog is the same as the battle of Armageddon as we study Ezekiel 38:1-6 which actually names all who will come against Israel in the end of days being Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands. In this battle, this Gog-Magog War, this Armageddon battle, is a different type of battle from any other ones found in scripture including the king of the north and south in Daniel 11. Within this battle the first six trumpets of God's wrath will be poured out into the world, Ezekiel 38:17-19, as we read in Rev 8:6 being the first trumpet sounding that takes us to the seventh trumpet of God's great wrath in Rev 11:15-19 and the timing of the son of perdition during the time of the seventh trumpet that promises a false peace and safety if all will take the mark of this beast, 2Thessalonians 4:1-12; Rev 13.

Ezekiel 38-39 calls this the battle of Gog and Magog and Rev 16:12-16 the place called Armageddon.

Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Armageddon, Harmageddon, Mageddon known in a few ways of different spellings, but being a city called Megiddo found in the Jezreel Valley between Nazareth and Jerusalem being a place of troops, an assembly of troops, a gathering of troops; a mountain assembly of troops, a mountain rendezvous of troops, or a mountain gathering of troops.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev 20:7-10.

Let's take a closer look at Rev 20:7-10.
1. After the 1000 years are expired Satan will be set loose, but doesn't say how long he is set loose before he is cast into the lake of fire.

2. Satan goes out immediately to deceive the nations.

3. These nations are in the four quarters of the earth, (N S E W) that Satan gathers together as the enemies of God are great as the numbering of the sand of the sea.

4. Four quarters of the earth are east, west, north and south as described in Ezekiel 38:1-6 in all who come against Israel in the final battle called Armageddon.

5. The breadth of the earth means the saints that are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth.

6. God sends fire down from heaven to devour/destroy the enemies of God and Satan is cast into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet are.

Notice where it says the beast and false prophet are, as that happens when Christ returns in the air with His army of angels, Rev 19:11-21, before planting His feet on the Mt of Olives.

Rev 20:7-10 is the defeat of Satan after the battle of Armageddon where he calls all the nations to come against Israel one last time as prophesied in Ezekiel 38:1-6 that describes these nations. In this battle, this Gog-Magog War, this Armageddon battle, is a different type of battle from any other ones found in scripture including the king of the north and south in Daniel 11 as this takes place after Satan is bound and then set loose for what I believe 1000 years is symbolic in it's numbering like that of a figurative number, not a literal number as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2 Peter 3:8. 7:9;1Chronicles16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2 Peter 3:8.

Those that have rejected Christ that still remain on earth after the beast, false prophet and all the ruling leaders from every nation that followed after the beast are destroyed, Rev 19:11-21, are those who are the numbering as the sand of the sea. These are the enemy of God that Satan uses to battle against the saints during the battle of Armageddon that are camped upon the breadth of the earth after Satan is released for a season. The saints are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth. It's only the 144,000 generational Jews that believe in Christ that have returned to Jerusalem. After the 1000 years are fulfilled Satan is set loosed for a season and goes out to deceive the nations as he gathers the enemies of Christ to battle against the saints as the numbering of unbelievers is like the sand of the sea. As the enemy surrounds the camp of the saints God sends fire down from heaven and destroys the enemy and Satan is cast into the lake of fire. Zechariah 14; Luke 21:20-22 and Rev 16:16 mentions the battle of Armageddon when Christ and His army of angels return as Christ plants His feet on the mount of Olives for the final battle as Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel Chapter 38 is the battle of Rev 20:7-9.

As I understand all of this it happens at the time of Christ return as I see everything happening very quickly as being the last day when Christ returns for at that time all evil will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming, this present heaven and earth will pass away and restored again before the New Jerusalem will be ushered down from heaven, Rev 21:1-8.

I did consider it, but timing participants and outcomes are different showing they are fought by different people at different times. Gog and Magog are not the Beast. They are destroyed by God Himself on the mountians of Israel and the dead are buried for seven months.

The King of the North Beast meets his end at Armageddon, is fought by the Dragon Beast and False prophet whose armies are slain by Christ and the Beast and False prophet cast into the lake of fire: The Birds of the heavens eats the flesh of the slain:

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Rev. 16:13-16 NKJ)

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
(Rev. 19:19-21 NKJ)

I never said that Gog and Magog was the beast. Where is your source found for they are destroyed by God and buried for seven months? I showed you all the nations that will come to the battle of Armageddon after Christ returns and Satan is let loose to fight the last battle against Christ and all who have been caught up to Him.

That's correct. You asked if I considered these different battles are part of one big one, which would imply the Beast and Gog are the same. Here is the seven month burial:

11 "It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.
12 "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.
13 "Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified," says the Lord GOD.
14 "They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search.
15 "The search party will pass through the land; and when anyone sees a man's bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog.
16 "The name of the city will also be Hamonah. Thus they shall cleanse the land."'
(Ezek. 39:11-16 NKJ)

That is a different war. Here the birds of heaven feast on the dead, they are not buried:

20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
(Rev. 19:19-21 NKJ)

When details are different, the likely cause is they are different events.

One should not imply/assume what another says, but to ask them what they mean by what they are saying.

Ezekiel 39:1-24 was a literal past battle and all of them are dead in their graves. In the end of days after we are caught up to Christ we come back with Him as He plants His feet on the Mount of Olives to fight the final battle as Satan will be then let loose for a time to send the enemies that surround the camp of the saints.

Armageddon is not a literal place you can locate on a map, but is symbolic of many areas north of Israel where the great battles of the Old Testament were fought. Armageddon derives from the Hebrew word Har-Mageddon which means the Hill of Megiddo which is found in the Carmel mountains. Megiddo is mentioned in the Old Testament as the site where Joshua conquered one of the thirty one Canaanite kings, Joshua 12:21. Deborah and Barak defeated the army of Sisera in Tanach by the waters of Megiddo, Judges 5:19. Megiddo is the ancient city that was formerly a Canaanite stronghold. The city was occupied by the Israelites under King Solomon who reconstructed the city as one of his storage cities, 1 Kings 9:15-19.

Megiddo is on the east of the Plain of Esdraelon opposite the Jezreel Valley in the Carmel Mountains. The land has three passes that form together as a "Y" making a strategic land route going south towards Jerusalem. We studied how the seas will be impassable at this point and the only option will be traveling by land as all nations will be gathered together for the battle of God almighty. Megiddo is the key for understanding the meaning of the Hebrew word Har-Mageddon or the hill of Megiddo which is called Armageddon in scripture.

Joel calls this the valley of decision as multitudes of people are gathered there, Joel 3:14. This is why Jesus says to be watchful as He will come as a thief in the night to those who have no Spiritual relationship with Him. There are an estimated seven billion people living in the world today with only a small percentage of them being truly Spiritually born-again so this gathering can not take place in one specific area found in the Carmel mountains as this gathering is that of one like mind.

The multitudes and multitudes are those of every nation who have no knowledge of the true Christ and have been deceived by the beast and the false prophet taking its mark. Revelation 1:7 says every eye will see Jesus coming in the clouds. This means everyone all around the world simultaneously will see Jesus coming in the clouds with His mighty army.

Many will set out to rebel and fight against Jesus, but not realizing the battle of God almighty is not that of any military enforcement using weaponry of mass destruction, but is that of Jesus coming to make an end to all the abominations that have caused desolation's in this world casting it into the lake of fire for all eternity. Jesus will purify this present earth and the atmosphere (first heaven) above us renewing that which was corrupt in order for God to usher down the New Jerusalem then we will be with the Lord forever.

Throughout all the ages the battles have always been that of Satan’s rebellion against God as he works through those who lack true knowledge of Gods word, Hosea 4:6, 7, and are lovers of self, 2 Timothy 3:2, 4. Satan claimed in Isaiah 14:14 he would be like God and also sit on the mount of the congregation as he takes his seat on the sides of the north.

Revelation 20:7-10 explains this future last battle and the defeat of Satan when Jesus plants His feet on the Mount of Olives.

I apologize for misunderstanding, but you weren't clear. At first you seem to say they are the same, only later did you distguish them:

Have you ever considered the war of Gog and Magog is the same as the battle of Armageddon as we study Ezekiel 38:1-6 which actually names all who will come against Israel in the end of days being Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands. In this battle, this Gog-Magog War, this Armageddon battle, is a different type of battle....

I still don't understand what you mean. If its a past battle, how is it naming all those in the Battle of Aramgeddon?
I agree Har-megiddo is symbolic for the land areas of those past battles, but "har" then refers to the sky above, from where the "stars in their courses" fought against Siserra. Then "Armageddon" is referring to the end time cosmic battle between heaven and earth, over Meggiddo.

But I disagree Gog and Magog refer to a past battle only, I think there is a fulfillment of this in the End Time, against Russia and allies in the mountains of Israel. They attack Israel because they are attacking the Beast's base of operations, while he is away fighting the King of the South. Yahweh God first destroys Gog and Magog, and then Yahweh the Son Jesus Christ as the "arm of Yahweh, the Sword of Yahweh" destroys the Beast and His armies at Armageddon, so they are different battles, one following the other.

This exlains why God lifted the restraint on the Kings of the East, where are the principlalities and powers of wickedness in heavenly places. And it explains why the strong delusion propaganda was needed to gather the earth's armies to Armageddon. The earth was terrified by Yahweh God's destruction of Gog and Magog, crapping in their pants as it were. They needed reconvincing they could defeat Christ at Armageddon.

Fire consumed many not only in Israel, but where Gog and Magog had their forces:

4 "You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 "You shall fall on the open field; for I have spoken," says the Lord GOD.
6 "And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.
(Ezek. 39:4-6 NKJ)

That terrified those who had taken the mark, they needed another infusion of evil spirit delusion:

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.
(Rev. 16:12-16 NKJ)

God "sends them that delusion" by lifting His restraint on the "King's of the East (literally, sunrising), the Euphrates, which symbolicly is boundry of Greater Israel. They flood into the area to help the Beast and False Prophet, and the world sees all that power and their hearts are hardened, to fight Yahweh God the Son, Jesus Christ at Armageddon.

Although its not a perfect fit, this does fit the seven years cleanup, which ends at the beginning of Christ's millennial kingdom:

9 "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.
10 "They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them," says the Lord GOD.
(Ezek. 39:9-12 NKJ)

Have you ever seen history repeat itself, but with different players, but the same countries? The battle in Ezekiel will be similar as far as where the battle will be and all associated that will come against Israel/saints of God in the final battle called Armageddon after Jesus returns and plants His feet on the Mount of Olives to fight against them.

There are ten nations that will compass the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire will come down from God out of heaven, and devour them, Rev 20:7-10.

These 10 nations of Ezekiel 38-39 wars consisted of, Rosh, Magog, Tubal, Meshech, Gomer, Togarmah, Persia, Put, Ethiopia and Sheba & Dedan.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev 20:7-10 Battle of Armageddon that we read about in Rev 16, happens when Christ returns to Earth with the saints that have been gathered up to Him, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18. These are the countries that come against Israel being present day Russia, Turkey, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia that make up the ten nations of Ezekiel 38-39.

Interesting, never noticed they both number 10. As a premillennialist I cannot put the battle in Revelation 20:7ff, when Christ returns to earth. To a premillennialist, a thousand years separates the two.

Hopefully, we will learn soon who had these prophecies right.

Amen, Come Lord Jesus!

All depends if you see the 1000 years as literal years or symbolic in its numbering.

I believe a 1000 years in Rev 20 is not literal years, but only symbolic of a certain period of time as nowhere else in scripture other than Rev 20 does it mention a literal 1000 year reign of Christ here on earth, but symbolic as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

Unlike the examples you give, in this context "a thousand years" is repeated "matter of factly", as literal time:

NKJ Rev. 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
NKJ Rev. 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
NKJ Rev. 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
NKJ Rev. 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
NKJ Rev. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
NKJ Rev. 20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison

Context favors premillennial interpretation as a literal 1,000 years.

I notice the forum no longer hyperlinks scripture, that is a mistake. People should be able to hover a mouse over a Bible reference to read the scripture cited, or click it to read it in another window.

You have influence with the moderators, perhaps you can mention it to them.

We just see the numbering of a 1000 years differently and from Ezekiel, as well as many other OT scriptures, we see history repeat itself like many of the prophecies we see now and will see come to be. I see everything within the seventh trumpet sounding after all have taken the mark of the beast and the vial judgements, Rev 16, that then will Christ return in final judgement against His enemies casting all of them into the lack of fire and then all who are Christ own will be with Him for all eternity.

I have no influence on the staff. You will have to go to Talk With the Staff forum.

A number may be symbolic in many instances such as a thousand hills or generations, but not so when it comes to days, months and years. 1260 days are 1260 24-hour days, 1000 years are 1000 solar years. God operates on his schedule, his has set prophetic events on his appointed times, none of them is random.

When Christ returns and we are caught up to Him, Matthew 24:29-31; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18; what will be the purpose of another literal 1000 years? Do you think it will take 1000 years for Christ to destroy His enemies and make new this heaven and earth again, 2Peter 3:10-12; Rev 21:1-2; Rev 19:11-21?

Many things are very literal and symbolic within the Revelation of what was revealed to John.

The purpose is to test the billions of people unsaved, who survived Armageddon etc., and repopulate the earth.

The unsaved are forgiven their sins and blasphemy, if they aren't wicked. These enter the millennial kingdom of Christ unsaved, to be evangelized by the kings and priests of Christ, His Church.

They also repopulate the earth will billions of children.

After a thousand years, they are put to the test and all who become like Gog and magog, are consumed by fire.

The rest are judged first at the Great White Throne.

Until a person is given eternal life in Christ they are "dead in their sins" (John 5:25).

They remain "dead" (unsaved) until they are judged according to their works. Those who pass the judgment have their names written in the Book of Life.

Then the Dead in Hades are raised up and judged.

You can see the two separate judgments in the context.

7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:7-15 NKJ)

Below disproves what you say about a literal 1000 years just to test the billions of people unsaved who survived Armageddon etc., and repopulate the earth.

When Christ returns on the last day, John 6:39-40, after the son of perdition has caused all to take the mark of this beast or die a martyr's death, Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 13:11-18; Rev 19:11-21 we are then caught up to meet Jesus in the air as then the door of salvation will be closed forever causing no one a second chance to be saved, Matthew 24:29-31; John 6:40.

There is no more populating the new Earth as we will be like Jesus and the angels in their glorified bodies and there is no more marriage on the New Earth and New Jerusalem that will be ushered down from Heaven, Matthew 22:30; 2Peter 3:10-11; Rev 20 Rev 21:1-3.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

John 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Thessalonians 1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; 4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: 5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: 6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

When I read all the scriptures of Jesus sitting at the right hand of God and these scriptures that speak about the judgement of Christ, the Great White throne judgement where God is sitting on the throne and the books that are opened, Matthew 25:31-34; John 5:27-29; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Rev 11:18; Rev 20:4-6; Rev 20:11, 12, this makes me believe that at the Great White Throne judgement God will be sitting on His throne and Jesus is there seated at Gods right hand now on His throne of glory. All (saints and sinners) have been called from their graves (one resurrection) and the sheep are then separated from the goats as the sheep, being those of God and His Son will stand before the judgement seat of Christ as they have been given their new glorified bodies and their names found in the book of life. They will then be judged for their good works they did as being the continued works of the Lord being in Gods will and receive their crown rewards and their inheritance of the Kingdom of God. The goats being those who are not Gods will be judged out of the other books and their judgement is that of rejecting God and His Son and their punishment is being cast into the lake of fire.

Scripture never speaks of two resurrections, but only one resurrection, John 5:28, 29 and a second death being that of death and hell being cast into the lake of fire, Rev 20:14, 15. There are two separate judgements, but only one resurrection as all will occur at the same time at the Great White Throne Judgement then will God renew the heaven and earth and usher down the New Jerusalem.

John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
A 1000 years in Rev 20 is not literal years, but only symbolic of a certain period of time as nowhere else in scripture does it mention a literal 1000 year reign of Christ here on earth, but symbolic as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the? last day.

You believe everyone will either take the mark, or be saved. Not one person left alive who didn't do either, when Christ comes? Then angels would not separate the good from the bad AFTER Christ comes:

47 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,
48 "which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.
49 "So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,
50 "and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matt. 13:47-50 NKJ)

These weren't among the raptured before Christ and His angels land on earth.

I can't reply to this if you are not going to read what I wrote including the scriptures pertaining to all of this.

I do not believe in a pretrib rapture of the Church. It's found nowhere in scripture no matter how many try to twist scriptures to teach this false doctrine.

That one verse proves everything you said was wrong. Don't reply, you cannot.
