The Beast out of the Earth

If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

Advancing technology to avoid paper and other materials. I wouldn't take it any further than that, personally. I have to use a retinal scanner to get into my office.

(I could tell you where I work, but then I'd have to kill you. ;))

I wouldn't worry about it Oats. (That is the first time I have seen one of those machines.) But that is not why I would not worry. I wouldn't worry for the simple reason that our world is set up for righties. It is the reason that lefties are more prone to accidents. The majority of devices and thingamabobs are set up for righties. It is no surprise that a time clock should be no different. The majority of people are right handed and it is natural to reach out with the right hand for most of these people. You reach right to turn a door knob. You reach right to shake hands. You reach right to pick something up. Etc. It is more natural for the majority of the population to reach out their right hand to place it on that device you showed in order to clock in. A left handed device would be awkward for most people.

Being a lefty I got a nasty left hook, my right hand is pretty good too, but not as good as the left...

No I think it is just a device, nothing much to read into it. I'd be concerned about the RFID chips some places are requiring because today those chips are in a card but tomorrow they will be implanted in the top of your hand...
