Route pics

Seems like an odd law....but I guess there were reasons for it at the time
Save fuel, remember most plants were fossil fuel coal or diesel powered or oil.we do have trash burned power then .brush used to heat water for a turbine.blanding ,I think had one.big blue was a novel idea in its day.cng for power isn't new but wasn't around in the 40s.

That makes sense, about saving fuel. Many of the country farmhouses in Illinois didn't have electricity - or telephones - until later on.

That was fascinating history on the Treasure Hammock Ranch! Thanks!

It can be a challenge to keep track of members of a large family ... daunting, even!
Sexton, bishops, and tripsons, all are kin to Waldo by marriage or sons of sexton who married them.

I think that's nice that some of the descendants are still ranchers/grove owners. That sort of family tradition isn't always kept.
I was at the former location of a ranch thar was used by tripson dairy and is now a palm tree farm.I thought about taking photos

A palm tree farm would be a fitting tribute to a former dairy!

It looked like Natalie is Marygrace's daughter, but I could be wrong.

Cool info on the company!
She,natalie, has ads on wscf a Christian station ,since it's a sexton .I will photo thus in a few weeks.the packing house is not far out of the way home from drill.
