Route pics

Wellll................maybe it was a good idea to not keep that sign! 30 feet is definitely a sign!
I was 12 at the time. lol .Interesting in the time this photo was taken there's no storm pipe in front of Krusty's

Being 12 at the time, your parents probably wouldn't believe that a 30 foot 'followed' you home!

Is there a storm pipe in that area now?

it was when I was poking around that sign. sexton beach an Humiston have that.

I haven't thought of that in a while. there were two of these at one time.

Two of those big wheels?
yes, next to each other. this thing was famous for injuries. that's why they removed them. the first one , in this photo worked for years, then they put in another , a newer one , that broke then this one was also having issues. they put metal over the wood to keep it together.

I can understand why there would be the potential for injuries with those.

:hysterical

Perhaps someone, somewhere, will revive the wheel!
Its been about 20 years. 1994 was the last time I saw it. all that is original to my time that is left is the life guard station an the dolphin.

Then again, maybe someone won't be reviving the wheel!

20 years ago, most parks had lots of playground equipment. Now it's very limited.
