I do hope the powers-that-be actually know what they're doing....but at this point, I'm highly sceptical.
Ft pierce went online with the fmpa and they were contracted to run their plant. BIG blue in part is being decommissioned because of that.

There are all sorts of groupings of those wind turbines throughout Illinois. Ugly. Expensive. Subsidized by our tax dollars.

They hate the towers of big blue ,and I can't fathom a wind turbine not that high .
 
That's surprising that the site is still empty.
Site clean up,just like the diesel plant. Which was decommissioned in the 90s .the renovation didn't occur until a decade ago.
