Lucky! If there were any like that in Illinois, they've been long, long gone. Parts of Illinois used to be marshland and swamps.

It was a group that took it over and it sat 23 years. The Vista Royale Route which has both the condos and McKee on it was original all McKee.The entrance to to Vista Royale is where those large Palm trees were that you like.the Hall of honor.A hurricane wiped those out.

Its unlikely units are coming out .its the abestoS pipes for the cooling tower that are coming out.There's a meter inside .that's why went inside looking and photographing as I went.

Sometimes, something we see a lot becomes part of the natural horizon, so we don't notice all the details.
 
The first photo in your Post #4193 is exquisite ... I could look at that frequently and never tire of it!

one of them isn't the power plant but the sewer plant. it was very wet when I was taking these photos at times. I will get more of the sewer plant.
