Yep....the Post Office isn't happy in those areas either
Meter reader isn't either. I know by the day when the check read is given where I must go.if i got 600 live oak ln ,after reading the beach the next day .it know where it is.that is how I know

Oh! I hadn't thought of how much fun all the similar street names would be for you & the other meter readers, especially when an individual work order of some sort has been issued for a particular property.

What a potential nightmare!

Days,oh they all have the same zip code.!

County.

Try 100 woodland dr. It's in the edge of a old course. Lift station meter lication woodland is the name of a trailer park near there if you consider half a mile a close proxinity.

Isn't it crazy how different names couldn't have been thought of at the time of the naming?

Oh like mckee ? That's where that is near and once part of.try using a GPS and finding that. We gave a comcast meter on a defunct road and its all woods now.

Now that would be fun ... keep 'em guessing where in the woods it might be located!

Understandable. There are highways that cut through many of the cities/towns in Illinois. They have a street name in town, but also the highway #s are posted. One can't use the street name to non-locals, as they would get lost.

Nothing like keeping people guessing!

Gotta be a knowledgeable local to know where to find certain locations.

Lol.It took a while to know the area.st helens route ,very confusing

Don't feel bad about the initial confusion.

This morning, the guest speaker for the meeting I attended was late. His GPS gave him conflicting directions to find the location of the meeting. He arrived on the other side of time with plenty of time....then found to his chagrin he wasn't at the right location. Poor guy!

I was throwing papers to mcansh park for nearly 7 years before I became a meter reader.I got the mcansch park route because I know the streets.the city has its route.I wouldn't want Tom to combine St helens route into the mcansch park route.it would take me till 2 or 245 to get that done.700 reads.I know a route that is done on the same day,or cycle thar has 560 reads .I can finish thar at 1130 but I ran that route to do that.

The piper route area is the worst.2830 flight safety dr.Is it on piper Dr or flight safety dr? That is also on my paper route.try going into Holman stadium.4001 or 4003 aviation blvd or 34th ave depending on the meter
