the black and white restaurant is in that lack of color for the reason that its old. older then the beach namesake of the man who built it. it also was an officer club during ww2 for the navy personnel here.

Nice! We get the sunsets, haha

It looks like a great beach, so you must live not too far?
Have you seen any sharks?

the name of the beach is called sexton beach. named after waldo sexton who built many Icons. two within walking distance of this area. the ocean grill and waldo's. the driftwood inn. I count those as one. there was a waldos mountain which was some odd hill of a stair and had a throne on top of it. I'm not sure what he was using that for or just built it. plenty of his influence remains. I have posted numerous photos.

I live within minutes of this beach and I was near it this morning. I was asked to take this set of photos(40 plus) of the sunrise for a friend who isn't from here, but lives here.

I have also found an other enigma and it was told to me and I noticed it on a topo. I can post the map and point it out . if you know how to use google earth I can have you go to the location and see what I'm talking about with the map. this site wont let me post a photo directly. It was mentioned to me by an old nice man from Gifford about a school near the hospital that goes back before ww2 and he said its gone and I never looked into and saw it on a topo. I think it was the segregated elementary school and the local history says they had one just not where. I may have found it.

Google earth is awesome, use it often. Let me know where it is and I will take a look.

I think it would be cool to go to europe just for the architect and homes.

When I was in new mexico a few years back, supposedly they had the oldest church there. Yet, not sure why the oldest would be there as the east coast surely houses it.

Maybe it was the oldest church in New Mexico, I was young when we visited. It would make sense the oldest church is back there.

There isn't much history back here. Haha There is the famous story of the nurse who took women into her home for ailments and starved them to death, something that happened here. I think Ted Bundy was from here. Lots if crazy liberals live here. LOL
