Running!

Hi ulasaw :wave

I'm sitting here laughing, because I've got today off, and I'm just getting ready to go on a 6 mile run, and oh how I wish I had somebody to run with!

I don't run every day, but I try to run at least three times a week with Saturday being my long run. My schedule right now is really messed up (getting up at 2 - 3 am to go to work etc...) but I'm hoping that after the first of the year when my schedule returns to normal, I can start running before work each day, even if it's just a short run down to the corner and back (1.4 miles)

Jeff~

I am with you... if only in "spirit". . . ENJOY!

You probably know what the gent from Scotland in "Chariots of Fire" said about "feeling the pleasure of God when he ran"?

I desire that~ in any endeavor~ whatever our Lord leads me to do... That I may feel His pleasure when I am doing what He desires of me. YES! :D

I pray for this for you too, brother!

Bonnie~

Some guys at work want me to go running. They run five miles every day. I ran with them once. I keep telling them I'll go with them again. I'm actually staring at my running shorts and shoes right now wondering if I should bring them tomorrow

:)

...did you decide to go w/them?

Actually--I know that running itself is not that "good" for me--a ::::fast walk is much better for the bones/body.

But it's SO HARD to NOT run! I love the sweating and feeling of accomplishment I get---which I
don't get (as much) w/a long walk......plus, the walks take so much more TIME!

I'll probably stop jogging when I HAVE to--then I will have no choice except to walk!

But EITHER is better than neither!! :")
