Satanism as in the religion and community has done things for me. Using Satan's name is only a metaphor. Having, according to Christian mythology, rebelled against divine law. Have you ever read Paradise Lost? Christianity does not teach that:Wow, talk about coming to the point.
I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but the Bible is very clear about who owns the...name above all names. So I would think that one would rather embrace the name of the so called good guy rather the name of the so called bad guy. From some of how you describe it, it sounds like it has many of the same ideals as Christianity.
Ok so let me get this straight. You're a satanist, but satan has never did anything for you, but he seems to have ideals such as being honest and helpful and kind to others, just like Christianity, but for some as yet unstated reason, satans name is higher than God's name...
Do I have that right?
So what is it about satans name that you hold to be higher than the name of Yeshua?
And why would a guy ever want to convert to satanism when that guy wont do anything for you? God will and does and teaches many of the same moral ethics and stuff. So it's all in one book without dividing ones attentions to two books.
In contrast, in the Tanakh, God orders mass killings of "all that breathed" (courtesy of the book of Joshua). It teaches that justice = divine law, not that justice prevails over it. It rejects the inviolability of the body (which includes reproductive rights). It rejects scientific facts in favor of faith, or else rejects just the facts that contradict a Scriptural interpretation (e.g., evolution). And Christianity depends only on a "written or spoken word", whereas Satanism (TST Satanism) has no canon.
- One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.
- The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.
- One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.
- The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.
- Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.
- People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.
- Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.
Well, then, yes.Don't dodge the question, lol I'm not offended, I want an answer!

Do you see a contradiction in your words? lol.We believe totally different.
Hardly! I'm keeping this to the unmoderated forums that are only for members who have decided they want to view topics in here. I have never discussed this topic anywhere else in the forums. Are you here to recruit into satanism? What urge drove you here? To enlighten us to satanism?
What possible community would such a satanist have with Christian people?
Perhaps I don't believe religion has to divide people, or should divide people. You asked for questions. I'm giving you questions.
You missed this one, and then I have another one for you.
Do you see a contradiction in your words? lol.

I embrace His name, but don't believe in His literal existence. You said you embrace name of satan. I don't care if you want to add an ism to it to try and remove yourself from it for a distance or to effect your disguise, it's still the name of satan, that you elevate above our God's name.
Or else in keeping it private. There's no community for you with Christians, unless you were interested in shaking all that nonsense off.
I'm happy to reveal my Satanism to anyone who asks me, but I won't publicly parade it around the forums and certainly not try to convert anyone into that. I doubt that Christian forum websites would appreciate public discussion of Satanism, so I respect that.I apologize to you. I sort of tricked you into revealing these things. I took advantage of your desire to teach and be the teacher, correct the teacher. And you jumped right on it. So you just sorta walked right into that one. No offense, but like you say, you keep some things hidden. And I knew something was there.
I am not offended, nor do I expect there will be no division at all. Nevertheless, there can be primarily unity, not division. That is my belief. That's a pipe dream boy. One group holds one guy and His name to be above all others and another group holds a different name to be above that Gods name.
So it's not realistic to expect that we can fellowship with no division, from the get go. You hold to a different God. SO what? That's your choice. You have no right to be offended when Believers in Yeshua do not fellowship with you though.
Good evaluation. Rituals are used when real understanding is lacking.I can't see much difference in them from a practical view.
I tink it was the Catholics which came up with calling it exorcism and adding ritual and incantations to it and all like that. But Jesus said He has given us the authority to cast them out, and that, everything He did, we will do and more.
But! He also said...this kind comes out only throgh prayer and fasting. Which is telling us that some demons are more powerful than others.
And I don't think it means pray and fast when youre confromting the spirit. You do that way before ever coming into contact with the possessed person. IOW, a greater anointing is needed for them received after much fasting and prayer. Then you can do it, and not get beat up by a demon like happened to that one guy in Acts.

Rituals are easier.Yep They got a program and run it play by play, lol.
So do Christian Pastors!
Rituals are easier.
People who really walk with Jesus don’t need rituals.Yep. Rituals are for when you don't know what to do.
Geez, look at Paul! All he had to do is walk by someone and his shadow falls on them. Wow. Talk about easy, lol.
However, ritual can help bring people together.People who really walk with Jesus don’t need rituals.
This speaks volumes .Satanism as in the religion and community has done things for me.
I don't interact with demons in any way (that's Pentecostal Christians!), nor do I believe in the devil (again, that's Christians), so probably the "volumes" you are hearing from my words are not nearly accurate. This speaks volumes .

The religion has brought me peace and community. Being an anarchist, Satan as a symbol has appealed to me, and TST relieved all the concerns I had over CoS. I identify completely with their 7 fundamental teachings, and with their emphasis on church-state separation. That is all I mean.
