I live in NW Pennsylvania and we will get some of this storm, but not as bad as the east coast and we need to keep all of them in our prayers.

for his glory:

Well, I guess that folk will want to tie their hair back very soon (or even do a quick chop) because the big wind is going to blow and spoil a lot of hair soon. And cars on the road. And garage doors.

Ppl need to be safe and pray.

(Hi; good to see you around again; haven't seen you in a while. Blessings.)

I'm right in it's path, living just north of Philadelphia. I guess I'll get more of the wind rather than the rain end of it, but I'll wait to see. My oldest son lives on Long Island and this is reminiscent of last year's Hurricane Irene.

If I go quiet for a few days, it'll be probably from a power loss as out here we don't have a good track record at all. We go out for every little thing, and lately for days at a time. And this is not a little thing this time, as this is the result of two storms combined. I have a generator now, so I'll periodically power up the computer (as long as the Internet works which it usually does far better than the power company works) for communication, phone and news.

Not too many people here will miss me unless I'm gone for a few days, but I belong to another Christian forum and friends with the owner and she would miss me right away. So, I'll fire up the generator to check in once in awhile.

i do, though i would disagree with you alot. that said.hmm do we floridians know about being without power for weeks. i was without power for a few in 04.

Yeah, I'm kinda watching Sandy. Not 'cause I'm going to get anything down here in Georgia, but 'cause my sister and her family live in SE Connecticut; my best friend lives in Salem, MA; and I have many friends throughout MA/NH/ME. Meep! :P

Thank you farouk. I just come and go at times. Need breaks here and there. Tim be safe as I know you will. I really do not think we will get much here in NW PA, but there are blizzard advisories out for us until Tues evening. Our electric goes out pretty easily at times as we live on a hill that's called Windy Hills and truly lives up to its name.

Iev heard this on alot of other sites and dont think of this as an attack please, but wouldnt the time you spent praying be better spent doing work you can to help out the people who have been affected by the storm?

YW, for his glory. Seems to have died down up here now, anyway. They had it pretty bad in NYC, though.

Blessings.
