Satanic music

Music was created by God for one reason, worship of God, if the song is not about that then it is satanic usually carrying subliminal undertones of devil worship

This has been well documented.

However, some Christians don’t care about the truth.

They just want what they want.

They can't worship 2 master's though the time comes when they need to make a choice

Here's a rap song from the 90's all about Jesus

Oh hey, my mom had that Charlie Daniels album from post #2! I used to listen to it a lot actually.

I'm just over here, listening to Red, Demon Hunter, and whatever else I have a fancy for so long as it has wholesome lyrics. Because music styles on their own are quite benign.

I also listen to music that isn't about God or worshipping God, in the same way I look at and even draw art that isn't about God or worshipping God. Art would be pretty boring if we were only limited to drawing stuff from the Bible, if you ask me.

Here's a cool secular song from a video game I'm currently playing:
The video game and (all of?) the music is by Japanese artists, but in this game they sing in English for the most part and it's actually hard to tell that the singer's native language isn't English

Here's another, different game, same series (not the same music artist though)
"It's a war out there everyday, you can't hide from it
You gotta play by the rules, play it cool
Gotta laugh in the face of the sad disgrace
When your friends and foes look alike

On the face of it
They missed their history
But they fight over place in it
Yeah they fight, over place in it"

How can a series of musical notes be satanic or otherwise?
It is the lyrics that denote the sentiments of the author.

It actually can I believe. It is in the musical notes, and their frequency that they resonate at. Certain tunings will elicit negative energy within oneself (The Basis of heavy metal music). Certain tunings will elicit positive feelings and love through it (The Basis of worship music).

Which is why we see riots at Slayer concerts and not at Gospel concerts, lol. Those guys tuned their guitars way down and tada, Heavy Metal was born. First they felt the music, and then they wrote raunchy lyrics to match it.

Even so called Christian rock bands like Skillet do not tune down like heavy metal does.

Music is one of the oddest things on this planet. It's able to stir the spirit and draw ones heart in a certain direction. In either good ways or bad ways.

Worship music during morning worship or dwelling prayer prepares ones heart and spirit to receive communion with the Lord. It opens ones heart.

It's the frequency of it that does it.

Then, like scripture says...if it is a sin to you, avoid it! (James 4:7) (Perhaps not the perfect scripture for this example???)
I'll stick with Titus 1:15..."Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled."

I've never been to a Slayer concert. I don't listen to that crap.

Interesting video. Maybe the money and fame is starting to get to the members of Skillet? I dunno. Their early music is good and what I listen to sometimes. Scripture says, some will drift away from the faith...others will accept Him. Now the band, Korn has been through changes. I never liked their genre of music but their own member, Brian Welch has a superb testimony and has found Jesus and sounds credible to me. Alice Cooper too! So yeah, the Lord is doing what He can within the music industry.

But back on topic, the music itself is a large part of it for the listeners. And that nice relaxing classical music is simply not tuned the same way that Rob Zombie tunes his guitar. So there's no riots at the classical concerts and is at Rob Zombie's.

Personally, I wish I had the equipment to remove the lyrics from about a thousand songs of which I like listening to the music.

There is a lot to unpack here, but I'd rather not waste time and energy arguing on a topic I've discussed a bunch of times in the past. I'll just enjoy mah Skillet and Red and Demon Hunter and Relient K and Within Temptation and you can have your boring classical music and generic uninspired pop worship music.
Am I capable of engaging the claims made? Yes, I've heard them all, I've heard them for most of my life. Do I have the mental energy and patience to do so? Not today.

(I was raised on classical music, and I do find it boring tbh. I also learned about the lives of the classical composers. I also took 6 years of piano lessons. Yes, I enjoy piano music.)

I too enjoy piano music.
Bruce Hornesby and Tori Amos come to mind.
