hello Mekros, dirtfarmer here

There is no "physical" difference between Christianity and Hinduism, or any other religion that this world has to offer. No religion has a life lived by it risen savior in it's converts. Belonging to Christ, being born from above, is an organism not an organization as the religions of the world are. Living by faith is different from living by rules of do's and do not's. As believers we know that we are not 'sufficient' within our selves, but it is the one that lives through us that makes a difference. It is not knowing about God, but God knowing us. Our spirit has been separated from that which controls our actions in this world, our soul. The spirit that we have been born with has been separated from our soul and made conscious of God, where by we cry Abba Father.

Church that has 4 walls and a roof with a steeple is an organization that requires a physical joining to the membership. Being a Christ follower has no building of 4 walls and a roof, but is being place into the body of Christ by the Spirit, as determined by God, for the edification of the body.
And the Body said, "AMEN"!

and again, what about the people that god put on this earth, when he KNEW that that they would suffer and die, and go to hell. do u feel no sympathy for them? they didnt ask for life, and neither did i. god knew i would suffer, going back, god knew that adam would eat the apple, going back, god knew lucifer would betray him, and lead a third of his angles to hell. how do i trust that?? i feel like im just a plaything, put on earth against my will, and told that i had to follow my creator, or die. if i had known this ahead of time, i would have liked to stay a big blob of nothing.

hello Mekros, dirtfarmer here

If you were "a big blob" you couldn't be nothing, but must be some thing. There is nothing in the creation of God that was not created for God's pleasure. It is my belief that the angels were created to worship and serve God's purpose. Nothing that God created was all powerful, all knowing, nor present every where. Only God has those characteristics. All of God's creation has a beginning. God is the only one that is infinite, has no beginning, always was, is and will be.

It is not God's fault that all men were, are, and will be born sinful and separated from him. It was man that disobeyed God and therefore caused death( separation from God) to come upon all. We are told that even the creation travails waiting for redemption.

You did not answer my question:

Quoting scripture to support our beliefs is not being 'closed minded'.....

Correct, Brother. That's called single mindedness...

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:.../

thats like making a piece of machinery thats faulty, knowing for certain that it will explode, and when it does inevitably explode, blaming the machine. there's no logic behind that, whatsoever.

Jesus compares us to a field God has planted. With a field, you know you'll have your crop you harvest from that, but also weeds grow too.

but yet the earth and its inhabitants are a lot more complicated than a field. we already know that most of the people of earth are going to hell, and a small percentage of them are going heaven. if u wanted to use the field metaphor, then it'd be like planting a field that would be 80% weeds, and only 20% plants. what farmer in his right mind would plant that field to begin with??

Hi Mekros, I was following your post. The man did not plant weeds,The enemy did. In the Tares among the wheat, the field was planted completely with wheat by the sower (The word of God), but it was the enemy that planted the weeds (tares, a false testimony) among the wheat. The world of mankind is made up of three kinds of soil: Rocky soil, shallow soil, and fertile soil.. There are two sowers!

yea, that is true douglass, ur right, 100%. however, i never said that god made sinners, im saying that he KNEW that they would become sinners, and go to hell. the farmer knew that some dude would come and make most of his crop bad. but god still created human kind anyways. why?? why would he do that??

Hi

This could go on forever.

Let me just say this...

I know exactly what you're talking about because it follows along many questions we all ask ourselves,
Some of us, however, feel the answer has been found.

If we go back as far as you want to go, the truth is that we don't what any answer is.
Who are we to know why God did anything.

Why did He make us to begin with?
If He's all-knowing and knew many would end up lost, AND we're told He loves us, how is that love??
If He's all-powerful, why did He allow Satan to have power over us? How is that love?
Why didn't God just make it so that Lucifer would never fall from grace and become Satan.?

Many questions. No real answers.

So here's how I made peace with all this.

The universe exists. We exist. As complicated as we are. Did all this happen by chance?
Or do we believe that a superior power made everything?

Personally, I believe God created everything. This makes the most sense to me.

So here's the deal.
We have two powers at play.
The good power....God.
The evil power.......Satan.

Even though we don't understand all the details, we do understand this...
We could choose to serve God
Or we could choose to serve Satan.

The choice must be made.
No middle ground exists.
If you believe you're not serving either one, then you're serving Satan.

Don't waste time trying to understand the mind of God.
Just make the right choice, and then be thankful that God revealed Himself to us and that you could spend eternity in a beautiful place.

Hello Mekros,
I gather you are knowledgeable on the subject of Predestination. But you see, it is so misunderstood and therefore is a stumbling for most of the world. We cannot avoid that it is taught because God had it recorded that it was written and sealed before He ever created the world.

A very, very, common mistake with folks reading the Bible is our lack of applying context to what we are reading. The Bible is in some ways like any book and should be read over and over with prayer and meditation because it was inspired/written by one author, God and the message is Salvation, one continuous continuity from "In the beginning... of Genesis thru the very last word of Revelation 22, it is of one context.

And then we have later day New Testament and New Covenant Christias that never crack open the Bible Jesus, Paul and the disciples taught from, the Old Testament. The 27 following books are 27 God inspired Life Application Commentaries on the first 39, the Bible.

And now about Predestination. God is Omnipotent and He is Omniscient. Omnipotence means there is nothing God cannot do and Omniscience describes His ability to be everywhere at the same time, and folks usually stop right there and fall short of what they seek.

All powerful and is everywhere at once, okay! But there is nothing impossible for God. God created the Time/Space Continuum we exist in, He did that for our benefit. That means God is not contained in our Time/Space Continuum but rather God is here, in Russia, He's in Japan and yet, because He is limitless, He is outside of all of this.

God could write the Book of Life before He created the world because Time and Space mean nothing to Him and the scriptures assure us He knows the beginning from the end. That will be impossible for us to comprehend but it can best be grasped with the metaphor of the dog found contained within the fenced yard. We can enter the yard and stay there or we can leave at our will. Ideally, we have complete mastery of the dog just as God has of everything in this world. That breaks down when we get to unlimited power and presence but then we are not God.

God is everywhere at the same time but it is more than that and the Bible that God calls everyone of want that none should perish. (2Pet 3:9) But men are hard headed, male and female, and run off on their own. Now with Good's unlimited power and because He is everywhere inside and outside of our Time/Space Continuum, he can be in the past, the pesent and the future at the same time, God knew, before He created the earth the very instant I would be saved because He had already seen the future before it happened.

A head bender, I know, but if you can wrap your head around this it makes all of scripture fit together smoothly.

hello Mekros, dirtfarmer here

The difference between "machinery" and "man" is that man had a choice but machinery doesn't.

pls trust me when i say that i dont want ppl to NOT believe in christianity, or any other religion. i admire faith such as urs that u can just believe there is a god who loves u, and will save u in the end. but yet christians sometimes fail to understand how ppl like me feel. i dont know how many times ive heard christians say to me that they've been where ive been, that they've gone through suicidal thoughts, and depression. but for some reason, no matter how many times ppl say that to me, they never seem to full grasp how i feel about it. someone who is clinically depressed does not want to hear that he is serving satan (thx to that wondering woman above u), or that they're friends, friends that they care deeply about, but dont follow the faith and religion of christianity, and because of that r condemned to hell. ppl like me, when they hear that, it doesnt help. now u said, and i quote,"Now with Good's unlimited power and because He is everywhere inside and outside of our Time/Space Continuum, he can be in the past, the pesent and the future at the same time, God knew, before He created the earth the very instant I would be saved because He had already seen the future before it happened." god knew that u would be saved. therefore, he knew that me and my friends would rot for an eternity, while the christians, the ppl who looked down on us, and told us that we served satan, and were doomed, frolick on top of our graves. i just cant wrap my head around this. so what were we, EXTRAS in his cosmic movie, where this spritiual entity played with life, and played with their destinys like playthings. i could i serve a god such as this?? and whenever i bring up this point, christians try and tell me that the vision of god that i have is morphed, but i find it the opposite. christians believe that god is their father, and he will take his beloved up to heaven with him in the end. Now, im going to paint the picture of god as factually as possible: "god" is an unknown, ultra powerful spirtual entity, who made earth, and its inhabitants, for reasons unknown. he made a book, and sent it down, because his voice was so scary and divine, that it would kill mortals." eventually, everyone who rejected his supreme rule would be thrown into an eternal darkness, and he would bring his followers up to his domain. im rambling at the moment, cause my low is deepening, so ill just stop here, before i say something crazy

Mekro,
Look at your last words in post no.53. You paint the same picture of God that I did.

I'm not condeming you. I'm telling you to stop trying to figure out if this is some kind of big movie or not.
God is outside of time. As th1b.taylor has explained, for God to have created time He cannot be a part of it. A watch cannot make itself, someone must make it.

Just because God knows something in advance, does not mean He causes it to happen.
We have a free will and can choose to serve Him or not.

Regarding your depression....
I checked and see that you are young. I might know much more about depression than you think.
I certainly hope you've gone to a doctor. There's medicine for depression that will clear it up.
Do not remain in the state you are in right now. Get help. A family doctor will help you.

What I want to tell you is that God loves you. No matter what we don't understand, we can be certain of this.

What you need to ask yourself is this:
Who was Jesus?
Did He know what He was talking about?

First get rid of the depression.

hello Mekros, dirtfarmer here

There are somethings that I would like to tell you about the God that I serve.
1. It is not God's desire that that you spend eternity in "hell". 1 Timothy 2:4 " Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth."
2. God want you to know what is that knowledge of truth? 2 Corinthians 2:19 " To wit, God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." The only sin that condemns is unbelief and it is man's responsibility to believe. John 3:18, " He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the mane of the only begotten Son of God."
3. John 3:19-20, " And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deed were evil." For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."

You seem to have some knowledge about God. The gospel of Christ is that he loved you and took your sin debt to the cross and paid that debt that you were responsible for. God has one requirement for the righteousness of Christ to be imputed to your account; Belief, believing, have faith in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for you. Any one that continues to reject the convicting of the Holy Spirit become more insensitive to God's calling to salvation and later can sense it no more. If you are still receiving that conviction, even though it may be less noticeable, God has not given you up to uncleanness. There is still hope.

I will be praying for you.

Hi Mekros I see Im a little late to this topic. Forgive me if you've been asked already. What or who do you, as a satanist, think satan is and what is his, her or its origin? To be fair, full disclosure I have my own thoughts regarding satan so its kind of a loaded question. But I am interested what you think.

for me, its not that i dont think that god isnt real, but just that he doesnt care. in regards to satan, i think that he's actually a literal, historical figure, as it says in the bible, or the satan is more of an idea, a representation of evil. i kind of switch between either one, but im not realy sure

Really you dont switch.. you serve one or the other.. the game you have played is not a healthy one.. Right now the score is you lost

I agree with Reba. You are either with Christ or you are against him. There is no switching back and forth.
