Sci-Fi movies

What's your opinion on Sci-Fi movies? I was thinking of writing a Sci-Fi movie about a thing that comes from an outer space.

I am a big scifi/fantasy fan. I guess interest in your story would depend on the plot. What sort of thing would you have coming from outer space. Obviously it would be some sort of alien, but what kind. What would be the interesting/antagonistic aspect of it?

I haven't thought a lot yet because I've got to finish my school exams but I've been wondering for a while it. Have you seen movie called Alien vs. Predator? A movie like that would be interesting, exciting and scary, that's what I'm looking and working for ;).

I should invent an unique idea but I need include outer space in it. What's Christians opinion about movies that are about something that comes from outer space and it's something horror? Then it's fantasy and it shouldn't be problem because it doesn't defiance God's creation, right? :)

I like, used to love, Star Wars, which is science fantasy.

I really like The Twilight Zone...that's considered sci-fi, right?

Is ET considered sci-fi?

Is Twilight the one with Harry Potter, or the actor who played him?

(Or maybe I'm mixing him up with some other guy.)

Ew, not Twilight! :lol The Twilight Zone is awesome, but I have no interest in Twilight.

And Harry Potter is Harry Potter. :)

I love Sci-Fi. A lot of it is quite predictive of the future. Remember those communicators they had on the original Star Trek where they flipped them open and talked. Back then we thought that something like that would never be possible. Now we have flip phones with chirp feature. :)

...

Well, yes.

I can't remember whether you said you liked Harry Potter or not. Anyway his face seems to be all over hoardings and magazine covers, though so does the Hermione young lady, too; I think she's gotten other show or film contracts, too; I don't really follow it, though.

Blessings.

Not especially interested, especially since I don't want to give my mom another reason to stress out. (She is vehemently against Harry Potter.)
The most I've done is read a fanfiction that was an FMA/Harry Potter crossover.

Sounds very reasonable, anyway. I guess you could say that I'm neither very pro-Harry Potter. But nor am I dead against him.

(By 'him', I mean the series, not the actor; I've no idea about him.)

Blessings.

How did you find out about Twilight Zone? You're not that old, are you? lol. I thought only us old geezers knew about Twilight Zone, lol. I grew up on it and it was a very cool show. It sure is Sci-Fi. You do mean the series that was narrated by Rod Serling, right?
My dad, and him watching the sci-fi channel. Also, we got several DVDs of it for Christmas.

I don't think I've seen Night Gallery, unless it was this other one I'd watch with my dad sometimes. I can't remember the name, though. What I remember of it are two episodes about aliens invading Earth, and in one of them they used music which infected the teen population.

Edward: There's a wikipedia article on Joe 90, it was an animated puppet series by the creators of the Thunderbirds.

I recently bought 'Star Trek: First Contact' dvd, i still haven't watched the dvd yet but i am going to eventually :)
I would like to know peoples views opinions on 'Star Trek: First Contact' dvd if anyone has watched/seen it ?

I wonder if Doctor Who would be considered sci-fi or just fantasy. Several of my friends are into that show.

Well, it's a case of does the reality fit the label, or the label fit the reality? I guess.

Especially if the reality is fantasy...

Blessings.
