He's our house dog. 11, 12 years old. I suspect he won't be around much longer. After we first got him, we found out that he'd been -seriously- abused. I mean...it took years for him to get up to anywhere near normal, and that's living here, with my loving parents, good food, etc. Ugh.
So...now, he's nearly blind, having health problems. The vet's response is to give him some new arthritis medicine for dogs and...well..."he's old." Thanks, lol.
I ask that you pray for Sebastian, the long suffering dog, and my parents, too. Over the years, they've come to love him in ways -most- people would not. A vulnerable, needy dog doesn't matter to most people, but he matters to my parents (and to me, too).
Thanks.
