Should we invite secular artists or worldly artists to perform in our Christian gatherings?

By artists I mean e.g Musicians, actors, models etc etc etc

Not sure what you mean. Like a kid's event and we hire a magician? Or hire the inflatable slide? If you mean music, there are plenty of talented musicians in most Churches. Where's there's none, they are close by. I personally know nearly 20 Christian musicians capable of playing in any event.

E.g, Rihanna as a guest singer in a church ceremony

Jesus warns us that there will be massive religious deception in His Name. Many Churches are bringing the world into the Church. When King David had his men set the "Ark of God" upon a new cart, God was displeased. David used the same method the Philistines used of transporting the "Ark of God (David borrowed an idea from the Philistines)." The Philistines represent the world. God smote Uzzah. 2 Sam. 6

What is meant by the deeds of the flesh? It means everything that is wrong; the good and the bad, i.e., sin. Paul said, "Which was good deceived me." (Romans 7:11)

No longer halt between two opinions. God demands that everything must be done by the Spirit and not of the flesh. Anything and everything that is borrowed from the world is a new cart.

Remember, If it doesn't Glorify God, it must be casted out. CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON,...Galatians 4:30

Return to the "Old Paths." Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV

Don't know much about her. I'd say no depending on her music and the messages. Lots of Christian artists to choose from. Even local talent. I can play guitar well enough to back any singer. And I know good singers who love the Lord. They should hire me instead. ;)

I see nothing wrong with a secular artist participating in a worship service so long as the 'art' is appropriate to the worship service. Maybe a good way to reach out to someone like that.......

Yes, Jason
if the lost isn't saved, why have them in a ministry position. that is like asking the lost to teach about repentance. its one thing if we do know if she is saved. I highly doubt she is but I'm not able to know for sure. I know her songs as my wife likes her. they aint something I can post here

Well, having someone in a ministry position is different. I viewed it as a secular artist participating in a worship service.
