[__ Prayer __] Seeing a Specialist

Keeping you in my prayers! (and Caroline too...I know what it's like to be in that waiting room!)

Thanks everyone for your prayers! He did fine and is resting now. The doctor decided to remove ALL of his uvula (so he will have to be careful swallowing), and they were amazed at the size of his tonsils. The Dr. said his airway was the width of a pencil! So, this is going to be really good for him when he's all healed. Please continue to pray for him as he is in a LOT of pain.

I will be praying today for you and Caroline. Girl I'm sure your nerves are tore up. Sounds like Tim you have sleep apnea too. My hubby has this breathing machine that helps alot, but he was as bad as you. Like the doctor said about every 30 seconds to a minute like someone poking you with a stick to wake you up. Which actually will make Tim very very tired. It's like your brain is lying to your body that it got some sleep cause you were in bed thinking your sleeping. But your brain is actually being deprived of what it needs most....sleep and rest. With the tonsils, that diffinately is a the main problem, but Caroline I would keep a eye/ear out for him after he heals from surgery, and see if he continues to do this stop breathing thing in his sleep. If he does, he may have to go through another sleep study to determine that. We just lost a friend two years ago from sleep apnea, heart attack in his sleep from not breathing and sometimes all they have to do, is open/part their lips to take another breath, and can't.

Praying for you two......God bless....love you in Christ!

it was a miracle that he could get out of bed then, i have had periodically mild to moderate asthma attacks, and sometimes during the cardio execercises in the gym i would loose my breathe.

God is a Good God. I praise him for the first few days of healing and look foward to his mercies on the next few to several. Thank you for all your prayers and support and I ask that you continue to lift me up through the recovery process.

I'm glad that all is going well so far, and will praying for continued healing. :praying.

Good to see you back, Bones! I hope you get to feeling better very soon! :praying

Besides not being able to sleep through the night and the post surgery aftertaste, I'm feeling pretty good. I can feel and see progress in my throat everyday so I'm looking forward to being back to full strength.

Excellent news Tim! :). When do you expect to be back to full strength?

I'm not sure Nick, but most of the healing should wrap up this week. I see the doctor on Wednesday and he'll see how things are progressing. Day-time pain has been more-or-less managable, but when bed-time rolls around I just cannot sleep. Pray for a good night's rest to help in the recovery process.

:praying Lord, I lift up brother Timothy, that he might have a good night's sleep to aid in his recovery from surgery. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Who knows what it was like to be hurting and be weary and need sleep.

Tomorrow is the Follow Up appointment to make sure all is healing as it should. Tonoght has been a great night as I've actually been a bit more able to pile on the food than I have been in the past few nights. I still can't sleep through the night, although last night was better.

The follow-up didn't show anything unusual so it's back to office life this afternoon. I'll take half days the rest of the week and start full-time again Monday. Thanks for all your prayers and just keep asking God to keep this recovery going as well as it has been.

does the shear heat there in GA bother Tim more now? It's hot enough to stoke the hellfires here in FL
