Senior Pastor, Dr. John Hagee - women who call God’s name during sex should be jailed

You brought up his failed marriage. That's why I have a hard time getting a job. Someone wants to bring up my 17 year old Felony and rub my face in it. Thank you Lord you on my side, but it's still gets very old.

Amazing JoJoe.

Hagee would never say what you all claim he said, and I can promise you He never said anything like it, He Would never make a comment about using the Lord's name in vain and putting women in prison. He's not like that.

I guess if we get a chance to judge others, and skip the fact we also will be judged the same (Jesus said) then posting made up stuff and acting as if it's real is good enough for some folks around here. Where are the standards?

Well true I guess I should of looked into it. Don't act like it doesn't happen with leaders to do such things because it is common. I am not claiming anything just merely responding. Thank you for the correction.

well Hagee has repented i am sure but the scripture says different .i have a felony that about 17 years old or longer . i talk about it all the time

I have done bad things (Unlike Hagee not saying what people said) Even if Hagee was guilty, do you want to hear about something you blew, then have your 10 year old sin brought up to make you look bad?

When people start putting down others, forgetting they themselves have done just a bad, it's not time to join the rest of the Lemmings running off the cliff to judgement.

i don't care to listen to Hagee these days. However, if he has repented or not that is something only God knows.

I said, Hagee never said that. He did not have to repent.

I don't mind talking about my Felony, but for some odd reasons, Jobs have not liked it or places to live. Not that it will ever hold me back, but sometimes when people get stupid about it, it gets old.

I understand that feeling and I can empathize with what your saying. Which is why out Lord is just in everything for he wipes our sins out of existence.

Was not my intention to judge... Opinions get the better if people at times.

That's fine Jojoe. One of the most devilish and destroying things in a marriage is bringing up the past argument. A spiritual man smiles, and keeps the peace. it's not easy, the flesh wants to remind her about the time she cheated, left the toilet seat down, and how she always sides with her mother. Character has to be in the home first before God can use you out there.

Blessings.

I'm no fan of people like Hagee, but I wonder if people will ever get tired enough to put an end to these so called "news" sites that openly and purposely publish outright lies and slander under the excuse of it being "satire"? I'm no fan of Hagee, but I still don't condone these lying, slandering satire sites like Newslo. This is a lot different from, say a comedy TV show from the past where you KNEW you were watching comedy and you KNEW not to believe it as truth. These sites disguise these lies as truth in very deceptive ways and hide behind some well hidden and vague statements that what they said "could be" satire. When will people stop listening to this stuff as if it's truth? I guess probably never. People seem to like to be lied to. Before the internet we had horrible publications like "The National Inquirer" that did the same thing and foolish people would believe them even when the editors of the publication itself would publicly admit they just make up the stories.

where did you get that?

I am not sure what you mean by this. When I read that Hagee said women who use the lords name in vain During sex should go to prison.

You know that can't be right. That don't even sound right. I don't listen to Hagee, but the people I do hear once in awhile think He is OK, like Jessee Duplantis, and my Pastor think He's OK.

Why question someones integrity based on what someone else said? Even if it is true, why get involved in making someone else look bad?

I know some folks around here love to put down other ministers, but loving to do something don't make it right.

When I first read this about Hagee, my first thought was that there was no way Hagee said this. I googled it, and there were lots of folks mad about it, and lots of people posting about what Hagee said. I just told the Lord I am going to be quite about it, because i believed they were just twisting His words, and I could not find his original transcript of when Hagee said this. I thought that a bit off.

When they slammed Joel Osteen on Larry King (Jesus is not the only way) You just know that Joel would have never said that despite the headlines. I went and found that transcript. Joel never said anything like that. He was asked by someone if Muslims are going to hell. He said, "I don't know." 3 times. He said that as not his choice to make. Joel never judges anyone, and could be a good reason why He has what he has.

People constantly take clips of what Kenneth Copleand says, have zero understanding on how faith works and write long articles about how off and false Kenneth Copeland is. Just constant lies, and envy, and it's of the devil.

We are all sinners we all mess up... Seems to me these 'big name' guys would take it upon themselves to stay in the background after something like that... Bakker, Swaggart Haggee Copland... to name a few... Hinn. White

THe Word says some thing about being the husband of one wife... Were you professing Christ at the time you committed the felony?. Were you the 'spiritual 'Shepard of a flock... Not being home the Bible soft ware is not at my fingertips... Isn't there are scripture about spiritual leaders being blameless?

We don't know the circumstances of that very long ago divorce. If the unbelieving want to depart, let them depart. Also being the Husband of One wife meant you can't have two wives which was still common practice and be considered a minister. It did not mean a divorce could happen as things do fall apart and you could not marry again.

I did not know the Lord when I committed my felony. Still, I have been to jail twice since then, on traffic charges that I had fixed and paid for.

Knowing the Lord does not just turn you into a super responsible person, but at least there is help knowing the Lord when we screw up, and Mercy as opposed to someone who does not.

We set such high standards for those who are publicly seen, but our standards for ourselves should not be any less. If we are all part of the body of Christ and doing our part, then it's the same high standard for every single body part.

A toe can't say that because I am just a toe, I don't have to be as diligent in things like the eye does.

i haven't listen to Hagee in a long time.. osteen is a ear tickler Jessee Duplantis he is ok my only objection with him is he thinks GOD wants us wealthy $$$$$. to much emphasis on money . he can put the word out .i really ahve no idea what women yell out during sex.. so many ministries a word of advice follow them with the Bible -preaching is like eating chicken eat the meat throw the bones away the list goes on and on

Isn't there are scripture about spiritual leaders being blameless?
yes in
1 Timothy 3 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
(the husband of one wife,) this is highly debated my personal thoughts leaning toward polygamy .the other side of the coin would be did this happen before grace? 2nd what led up to it? in the presbytery i am in these are the guidelines we use. when some one has a letter written by the church asking to be examined for the ministry .

I like Jesse, i don't mind the money message as God lives on Streets paved with the most pure Gold. Just 5 min in Heaven with a pickax Lord, and I have it made for life.

I do hate when ministers pull on people for money or promise them things for money. That I am against. Jesse has never pulled on people for money, or had a campaign of guilt like a lot of secular people use when given for a cancer marathon to get money.

As for Joel? I think he is awesome, and folks need to hear God is Good, God loves you. I don't listen to Joel much, as it's not deep enough but its there when someone just needs to know God loves them.

I don't listen to Pastor Hagee, Not a fan of His Blood moons and not baptist. Hagee has preached in Jesse's Duplantis church though, more than once. It was a fake news spoof that said Hagee mentioned comments about women. It was made up.

I don't judge anyone. I do cringe when folks fake healing and it does make me extremely upset, because there is a real, and God does what to heal and bless us. Though it makes me mad, I don't speak about the guy, and there are some worth mentioning if I did Judge others and put them down. More than some even.

I am not sure what you mean by this.
I think they mean, "Where did you get that?"

Mike, you said it didn't happen and now you indicate that it's only untrue because you say it didn't happen. Either it's true or it's not or you don't know if it is or not. Which is it?

As for "we all make mistakes forgive and forget" and all, that's fine, I'm willing to do that if these people that preach the word of God to many and have certain responsibilities to God and congregation would step down if they are going to say, fornicate (Did Hagee do that? you tell me) you know break the commandments. Yet these pastures still consider themselves worthy of a house worth millions because they are just that important/deserving. They put themselves on a pedestal and reap the benefits. Did God give him/them all that or did they take it from God's children with God's money...I wonder.

I say, get them out from behind the pulpit, they don't belong there teaching us or our youth. These people are, to me anyway, clearly about money first. How can anyone not see that?

Right, get them out!!! I agree. comments like that don't belong at the level of people reached by John Hagee.

However, I know the mans integrity. I know he would never say that. In fact it took a few days for it to come out. That is why I just kept quite, believing that he would never say what people claimed.

It turned out to be a comedy. A news Satire they call it. John Hagee never said that. Obadiah posted above about it. I posted the link to prove it was not true.

However, I did not know if it was true or not. I know the man loves God, and would never say that. Good enough for me. Now I have evidence he never said that.

Some things we just have to give the person the "Benefit of the doubt"

John Hagee never made those comments, and what I suspected to be true was correct.

Whoppie Goldberg was even fooled by this story. I took the wise position saying it can't be so. There are some things you just know by the Holy Spirit, and it did not "Seem" right.

Blessing to you, thank you for not thinking I am out to get you this time. I am really not that bad or hard on folks. I want them to think though and grow stronger.

Mike.

Funny, from what I've seen of Hagee, it's just the type thing I would expect him to say, lol. And yeah, I'm serious.
As for the Holy spirit telling you it's not true, I'm sure you understand, even the bible says we should require witness and it never says to rely on someone who said the Holy Spirit told me it was true so, we need proof or lack thereof. I'm going to assume your link is correct and there is no witness of him saying that.

However, that Doesn't get Hagee off my list, if for no other reason, the way he's used God's money for himself. Again, it's so clearly wrong to me.

And as I asked, do you know if Hagee committed adultery or not? Again, we all sin but this guy is a big leader and responsible for a lot of his congregations money/sweat and again, I think he's abused that already but, I'd just like to know about the adultery charge. I know God said he committed adultery when he remarried but that's not what I'm talking about

No, I don't think you are really out to get me anymore than I am you, but we will clash often, I can tell you that for certain.

Clash we might, but you can learn some pretty cool things from me. Seriously.

I also said by the Holy Spirit it did not "Seem" right.

This is how God leads. You did read about the "peace" in our heart. It "Seemed" off. So I knew the whole truth was not there, I just did not know what that was. Knowing some thing is off, means you stop, and get more direction.

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
(Act 15:28)
