Yeah, I don't know what I am talking about. Who am I to make any kind of a righteous judgment about anything. Especially when I don't have any experience with anything except what I am told by the media and the textbooks I have been introduced to. :rolleyes2 I mean it's not like I even have the sense or right to judge anything is it? :rolleyes2

If you'd like proof beyond this tiny forum then you've gotta dig for it and you've got to pray about it. If your apathy is in the way and you don't want to do that then you are welcome to remain tepid about the whole matter. And you can ignore the known facts coupled with the scriptures altogether and trust that no one in power would mislead you for any reason. People like to fancy the Bible as a lot of feel good stories that don't really apply to us today. The Bible is more current than tomorrow's newspaper. People should read the Book of Acts like it's happening today.

The Bible has some things to say about the state of the world we live in and the people that are in charge of it. Don't think it's left a stone unturned, it hasn't because it contains the key to understanding matters of spiritual importance. It is true and pure wisdom direct from God Himself and He reveals these things to people who take charge and actively fight the devil. I am revealing it to you right now not because I learned it while fighting the devil but because I learned it because of my involvement in wickedness. I saw this before the Lord Jesus convicted me that I should tell people about these things. I am telling the truth because I love people and the truth. I think we should all be united with it instead of being separated by the devices of men and satan.

The pharmaceutical industry is really very old and the occult practiced mind control with drugs. Pharmaceuticals have been used for a long time by devils and demons. Here in the latter days people have really become adept at using them to gain powerful results. Mainly due to the increase in knowledge we have experienced here in the last days.

Like I said, if you need an antibody do what you have to do. But be careful and always approach everything with prayer.

ugh...guess not...

As I have repeatedly stated. Please do not leave your meds until you are sure about the fact that God has indeed healed you at the cross.
Translation: "if you had faith youd be healed by now"

Sorry friend, that ISNT what scripture teaches.
If you do not believe that you were indeed healed by His stripes, then take your meds.
What a complete and utter perversion of the INTENT of that passage which is ONLY about our SPIRITUAL 'healing'.
Christ died on the Cross to SAVE, friend...not as some promise that my leg would magically grow back.
Honestly, you cheapen the gospel with this nonsense.

But if God shows you that you have indeed been healed at the cross.
Spiritually, not physically...
:)

Yeah....I mean gee...who are ALL of the REST of us who can SEE the GOOD done by modern medicine to dare to question those with conspiracy theories. ??
How dare we think and examine the facts for ourselves....

We dont need to dig, friend, we ALL know that greed drives the industry.
That DOES NOT MEAN that ALL who provide medicines are evil or conspiring against us all.
That DOES NOT MEAN that ALL drugs are evil.
The ONLY thing it means is that some folks are greedy and have the wrong motivation.

Paul said that even if the gospel is preached with the wrong motivation AT LEAST it is preached.
Medicines should be no different.

Some indeed even preach Christ because of envy and strife, and some also of good will. Those, indeed, preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds. But these others preach in love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.
What then? Nevertheless, in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached.
And I rejoice in this. Yet, also I will rejoice.
(Philippians 1:15-18 MKJV)
it is IRRELEVANT that some do what they do out of greed....LET THEM.
If we can reap the good that comes from it then fine. These greedy ones will answer on that day.

You are adding your opinion to the Word and making it powerless. There is absolutely nothing that tells us that this is only spiritual. But there is that shows it is physical AND spiritual.

Here is the Greek meaning for the word salvation.

G4991
???????
s?t?ria
so-tay-ree'-ah
Feminine of a derivative of G4990 as (properly abstract) noun; rescue or safety (physically or morally): - deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.

Here God says it Himself . He is speaking about diseases of the body

Exo 15:26 and he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon thee, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am Jehovah that healeth thee.

And here again it speaks of physical healing:

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Let look at the Hebrew word used here for healed:

H7495
??? ???
râphâ' râphâh
raw-faw', raw-faw'
A primitive root; properly to mend (by stitching), that is, (figuratively) to cure: - cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, X thoroughly, make whole. See H7503.

Physical healing.

It is one of the Names of God : IH589 am the LORDH3068 that healethH7495 thee. (Jehovah Rapha)

So its extremely Biblical to see God as our Healer. Through His stripes we were indeed healed. This is demonstrated by the Apostles time and time again, when they laid hands on the sick and healed them That is because it is the inheritance of all who believe.

While on the one hand, I am a big fan of freedom of speech, this statement is of a kind that borders on something that, perhaps, just perhaps, should be banned by the Terms of this board.

You have generally been polite, Cornelius, and I thank you for that. But you are encouraging reckless behaviour that literally might cost someone his or her life. And I would appeal to you to re-examine your scriptural positions here.

I see not a shred of Biblical evidence for this position that you promote. Thankfully, it is only a very tiny minority of Christians who would eschew medecine.

I think that my previous posts generally covers the stupidity of not taking your medicine if you are not sure that you have been healed. I am certainly not preaching that people should just stop it. I stopped taking my medicine when I realized that God had indeed healed me 2000 years ago. I went through a time of testing, where it looked as if I might have been wrong to trust God. But in the end, God won and manifested the healing (actually these days, I have had many healings ) Some things only lasts for a few minutes now and then disappears , whereas sometimes God allows my faith to be tested longer.

I am sorry that you cannot see a shred of evidence in the Bible regarding the healing of our bodies, seeing that , that was one of the main things Jesus did.

'No, friend, you and a couple others here are playing scholar of greek and dismissing that the overall context does NOT show that EVERY human being with an ailment will be healed.
Paul and Timothy both are proof of this FACT, Im afraid.
GOD determines who is healed and who is not.

And Ill ask you AGAIN where all these amputees whos limbs have grown back are ?
Are you claiming that no amputee has faith ?

There is absolutely nothing that tells us that this is only spiritual.
His work on the cross was to save our souls...to reconcile us with our Creator
If you arent capable of understanding that then theres little we can do .

And those whom He DIDNT heal ?
Paul might have a different opinion than you, C....seeing that HIS thorn in his flesh wasnt removed and Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach....not 'have faith and you wont need to'.

Sorry but something is horribly amiss in your fallacy here and in 40 more pages of this nonsense we will be right here saying the exact same things.
Im game if you are.

Why must you resort to such blatant exaggeration and misrepresentation, C ?
Is this how you must operate ?

NO ONE HERE is denying that Christ healed OR that God heals in general. Ive seen people healed myself...I KNOW it happens.
WHAT WE ARE saying is that He DOESNT heal unless it is HIS WILL to heal and that it very clearly ISNT His will to heal EVERYONE or we'd have no christians who are amputees.

Let me just put this as bluntly as possible.
Your godless error is dangerous to the brethren.
Why ?
Because firstly it will end up causing someone to not take their medications because YOU say they dont have faith and if they did then they wouldnt need it.
YOU need to be held accountable for ANYONE who stumbles or is harmed here.

Secondly, it is damaging to the faith of those who ARENT healed because GOD HAS CHOSEN NOT to heal them for whatever reason.
YOU tell them if they have faith they WILL be healed...and when they arent they begin to doubt and lose faith .
And again, you personally need to be held responsible for anyone who stumbles because of your error.

And we know on that day you will be.

I have been long enough on forums and I know the "context " line well enough to mean: You are outside of MY context so I cannot agree with you.

The Bible is clear.

1Pe 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give.

Luk 9:2 And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Luk 10:9 and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Deu 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

Amen Lord ! :yes

I understand that, but it remain irresponsible to suggest that anyone not seek medical treatment.

T'his is not a valid response to my challenge. The fact that Jesus healed "miraculously" is hardly an argument that we should reject medicine. If God chose to miraculously heal someone from a heart attack, that is hardly an argument that Christians who experience heart attacks should not call 911, and instead stay home and pray. They should, of course, do both.

Here's the problem with your position - you simply assume that "healing the sick" is always to be achieved "miraculously". I suggest that a Christian who spends 10 years at university to become an accomplished medical researcher is very much obeying Jesus' command.

At the end of the day, I suggest, again, that you have bought into an entirely non-Biblical duality between the "spiritual" and the "secular". There is no such distinction - God is at work in it all.

Of course its valid. We are called to walk as He walked. Just ask yourself what Jesus would have done .

1Jn 2:6 he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

I cannot see Jesus dialing 911. Can you?

But then, as I said before, of you are not sure..........then please dial 911, but do not look down on those who do not.

And round and round we gooooo...

YOure right..it IS clear.
Both Paul and Timothy were left 'unhealed' thus your doctrine is false.

"Make alive " how, C ?
You see the words 'alive' and 'heal' and you see nothing but the physical body, quite apparently.

oh good grief....now for more twists.
Our walking AS Christ walked does NOT MEAN that we are going to heal every single leper we cross gent.
We are working toward INNER perfection, C, we arent to try to use God for some vending machine as some here seem to believe.

I cannot see Jesus dialing 911. Can you?
Huh.
Jesus is God....so I wonder :lol

Secondly, did they even have phones then ?

Thirdly Luke was a physician and recognized as such by Paul.

Anything else ?

Drew said:

EXACTLY !

I have to take the wife to work, but when I get back we'll see if there were any 'healing's that were less than miraculous in scritpure...ie thru medicines or such....like Timothy drinking a little wine for his stomach ailment rather than being 'healed' as some here would have to believe if their doctrines were true.

A friend of mine was healed in February this year. Instantly when we prayed for her. She was suffering from migraines since she was about 9 years old after she fell in an accident. She is now about 58 . She had a migraine every month of the year , so much so that she wept with pain even when taking medicine.

God healed her, after she believed the Word. Today is ten months pain free. Praise God. I have seen more healings through prayer this year, than even before. God has been healing people on this forum too, when they have stepped out in faith.

There is nothing anybody can say to a person that have seen this happen, to convince them otherwise.Once we move into this reality, it becomes part of our lives and God allows our faith to grow. We do not start out in faith. No, it grows through trials and testing.

Believe the Word and you too will see the power of God
