Should I Tithe Or Pay My Bills?

I've wondered that myself.

What if it had been adultery instead? Would that make any difference?

Same sin, different class of demons influences upon the flesh. Same with "religious" demons.

It's just a sin. On the same level as...little white lies. Methinks that his particular sin is personally detestable to you for some reason? At any rate, the man had a pretty good message. We didn't agree on all things, but I'm not ready to call him a false prophet or anything.

I don't see these things as a one or the other deal. Everyone has demonic influences upon their own sorry hides. Just a question of particulars. Some see it. Most are in denial. For example I've certainly dealt with Matt. 5:28 more times than I care to remember. Do I relate to Ted's demon? Uh, no. But us "guys" will elbow and joke about our own with little to no regrets won't we? I try not to fall headlong in the pit myself. But this kind of demonic activity among heterosexual males is about as common a demonic influence as there is. In fact most of us would have a problem if we didn't have that influence.

The 7 Columbian youths who supposedly visited Hell were shown the area where people who refuse to tithe are. If you believe in these visions.

Rollo Tamasi
And so we should support those who tread the grain by the gospel message, separating the grain from the chaff. They have the right to expect us to share with them from our earthly goods.
As the ox separates the grain from the chaff he is fed from that same grain.

Your statement is too generalized.
You need to be more specific to make a point.

If you see a preacher on the street corner who has no church affiliation, should you support him?
Do you support him?
If you tell your pastor of a missionary who needs to be supported, and the pastor decides no, do you still support him instead of your local church?
Or do you just say "sorry".
I believe you cannot justify paying your pastor's salary and the church's electric bill before taking care of your own.
I believe in each one of these instances the believer needs to ask God and determine in his own conscience what he should do.

But as pertaining to this scripture I believe the teaching is saying that we should share with those who are teaching the Gospel whether it is within the organized church setting or outside of it.
