Should We Pray For Dead People?

What about election? Predestination?

I don't think we can stop predestination. Maybe someone was written in to pray for them after they died? Ya' never know, lol.
 
No. There is not only no example of this in the Bible or any other support, there is no reason to:

Heb 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, (ESV)

There is no more to be done after someone dies.

I've never seen any scriptures on it either. You guys are all prolly right. They're dead, it's too late one way or the other.

Perhaps....but there is no cut and dry biblical teaching on this issue. Because of that I'd void it
