So they say they region i am living, 1 in 3 homes has a snake living in it. Biblically speaking i would accept that as truth, but i dont like the idea there is 3:1 odds a real literal snake is living in my home.

I can imagine mobile homes being part of the "they say" and many homes have crawl spaces that aren't sealed from outside "invaders". Mice, other rodents, insects all attract snakes for a quick meal.
If your home doesn't provide living quarters for fast food, or crawling, then I'd not worry too much.

We have at least two black snakes on our property. And I would knuckle anyone's head who messed with them. Almost all farmers feel the same way.

I saw one dead rat snake, and racer.I chuck those snakes with my water rod

But i like lizards and birds. I dont want them eaten. I like spiders as well, they just lazy and stay in the same place for years not causing any trouble.
Now, I hate spiders. One bit me on the arm, and it took months of intense treatment to cure the bite... and it still left a quarter-size hole in my arm that took ten years to fully heal.

A few years ago a little snake crawled right between my feet while i was sitting on a camp chair out in the country. I didnt know what type it was. It was silver and had a black head with a red ring around its neck.

My other friend had the same, got bitten by a white tail and it ate his flesh and he had this huge hole in his leg all infected. I couldnt even look at it nearly made me puke.
