May we have your opinions please ?

It is a sad day for the United States. The will of the people is no longer relevant. :shame

What I want to know is why do you feel this way, what about the people who can't get health care, or a sick person who is turned away, because of no insurance. I just want to know what are your thoughts on those situations.

I want them to reform the existing systems, not create a new one. The entire health system is corrupt from the floor up, and it would take a lot of work to clean it up, but that's what we need. The problem is that so many of our politicians are making money from pharmaceuticals and insurance (both of which are getting away with theft) that they don't want to fix it. This new program is going to throw our country so far into debt that it really doesn't matter how much money anyone has anymore, because our dollar is going to be worthless soon.

The worst thing about this, however, is that over 70% of the American population is against this program, yet the government is still able to force it down our throats "for our own good." If that's not un-constitutional, I don't know what is :shrug

Thank you Caroline

When we talk about the health care bill, we are not just talking about health care. That is the problem. We are basically talking about government. Not about health care. Health care is too expensive. Forcing people to get a type of insurance does not solve the problem of a too expensive health care system.

Insurance companies will in the long run become richer. The health care physicaians and providers and hosptials will become richer. The public will become poorer ! < This is the bottom line !

This bill is not about helping those in need ! Look what we did for Haiti . We gave them free health care !

The same with Chile.

Those with insurance through the company they work for don't need help. It is those who can not afford health care that need help. Not with insurance ! ! But with health care !!

That is what I want to know about, those who can't afford health care for themselves or for their babies. Me myself, I am a Vet, so I am ok, but what about the others, the poor is my concern, Jesus said the poor will always be with us.

Hi

The Word of God tells us, that we are to be especially good unto the household of God. The church is suppose to take care of the Church. Which it is not doing !

Next, we are suppose to help others when the church is taken care of first !

This is suppose to be a witness to others, that the church cares !

But the Church does not care, and that is another major issue !

The gov. is trying to play church or God. But they do not want to address the actual issue. Which should be to help those who need care. This should not be an insurance issue, as this health care bill is all about !

This should not be about insurance ! Need I say it many more times before the stupid gov. will hear the words of the true proplem here in our country ? This should not be a government run program. Each state has different problems with health care. Each state should oversee the problems within each state.

Free will giving by the people is one of the greatest ways we see the heart of people from within the Word of God. We need to open our eyes , and come back to the Word of God. The government should be overseeing the cost factors of health care. Not controlling the way our country is to be insured for health care.

I have said this before and will say it again. Health care is way too expensive in this country - Period !

a subject with me, the disablilty program is highway theft, as its all high hell to get what your paying for. why not just take the docs word and make you subject to periodic reexamanations and or investigations that minimize fraud. if you apply the standard deny three times must apply before you take the ssa to court and win what is yours.

social security will be bankrupt soon, not sure now with the medicare system.
if you are married and both are on ssi then after the death of a spouse the higher one goes to the widow(er).if you die before the age of 62 the the feds keep YOUR money.

there has to be another way , and lewis when you retire any va pension or military retirement is subtracted from ssi benefits paid out! :mad yet when we wore the uniform and are paying the goverment for fica taxes, that get to keep it agian. :mad

I point to Soc Sec and SSI (as well as Medicare) as proof that we don't want more government intervention in our health care system. The waste, the cost, the fact that Soc Sec and Medicare would both have been bankrupt and long-gone if it weren't for the government's fancy financial footwork to keep them propped and going.

Idaho filed a lawsuit today to test the Constitutionality of this bill. Apparently, 14 other states, Virginia being one of them, did as well. Look for Virginia's lawsuit to get the fast-track to the Supreme Court.

I didn't want this bill. I have friends who believe as I do, and they didn't want it either.

We should have single payer plain and simple.

i think that the Lord is putting pieces in place to make people choose sides, either be part of the world and all their mess and sins and healthcare, or seperate unto him and flee babylon and do nto partake of there ways and learn to trust only HIM for ALL that we have need of

AWESOME!! I heard Florida had done that this morning on the radio, but I didn't know 15 states had done that. So, what could come of these lawsuits? Is it possible to overturn this? :)
