So maybe some of you remember me?

Yes Kenan, I agree with you. A Christian who has converted through fear of punishment is no Christian at all.

Go here I want to show you something :smt090

No, no, no. There won't be any "if you don't accept Christ you will go to hell for eternity" here. The idea that our loving Father can send us to hell for eternity is a man-made fabrication that is sheer blasphemy. Plus, scare tactics will never make someone love their God, only fear them - they'll only accept Him because they don't want to go to hell. So lets have none of this here.

Focus on showing people that God loves them, not that he's gonna send you to hell if you don't accept him.

Your part of this love gospel movement aren't you, the man better be afraid he'll be judged by a just holy God, God the Father sent his Son Jesus, he suffered the wrath of his Father in this mans place, do you think your love and peace there is no hell message is the answer. Jesus himself said what I'm saying he warned his creation about that place that was prepared for the devil and his angels.

Regardless, the video is kind of stupid.

Let me tell you a story - a very similar story.

I had a friend who was not a christian while I was. I prayed for him and witnessed to him every day - the whole nine yards. Guess what? He died in an intoxicated car wreck - just like your little movie! And according to you he's bathing in flames. Let me tell you another part of the story. Every day, from the time I came know jesus, not a moment goes by that I don't think of the "reality" of hell. I think about the flames, and torments, all of my friends and people i know going there and blah blah blah.

It's going to take more than an emotional appeal to change my mind at this point. IF there is a god, which I sincerely doubt, I'm not really afraid of him at this point. I've gone out alone into the the dark and tried to summon demons. I've raised prayers to the fallen angel Ipos in my chambers. Guess what? Nothing. There was no great summoning. No thunderous fear and trembling, no fire and brimstone - nothing.

Here's another fun fact. I prayed for my depression and suicidal tendencies for over ten years. Christians swore up and down it was a result of "sexual sin" or "Demonic strongholds." Interestingly enough, my problem was solved in 21 days by a pill. 21 FUCKING DAYS! Your god is so powerful and can cast unsuspecting stupid people that he created knowing they would go there into eternal conscious torment, but he isn't as powerful as a pill one tenth the size of my pinky finger? HAH. I laugh at your god.

Sorry about the rant. I just can't be swayed with emotions at this point. I need to actually see or experience something before I base my life on it any further (crazy, i know).

And as for misfit - i WANT to talk to you! I just can't PM you! The option isn't available! I'll give you my cell phone number if you want and you can call me dude! It says you have private messaging receiving disabled? Anyway, basically what I want to ask you is if you've ever experienced anything while pursuing satanism and, if so, what? Anything concrete that I could look at and identify there's actually even a spirit world out there? What's your experience there as a whole?

If you have, what works? How can I do it? How can I see something? How can i experience something? How can i go to sleep at night sure there's a satan, hell, or god?

I just want to know who the good guys are. I want to know the meaning of life. Can you help me?

Please PM me or email me or get me on AIM or something.

*facepalm* wow, that is a pretty strange thing to say considering Christianity is based on love. Of course I'm part of this love gospel movement - everyone who professes themselves to be Christian is! I'm sure you're aware of John 3:16, where it says that God loved the world so much that he gave is only begotten Son to die for our sins - there is no love greater than that. Throughout the entire bible there are passages giving us examples of love; in the passage where Jesus talks about the greatest commandments, he says the second is "love your neighbour as yourself".

I didn't say he wouldn't be judged, and I'm not saying he shouldn't come back to the faith - I'd love it if he did. But he also has free will which God has given him, and I respect that and don't intend to force him to change his mind. I don't believe in eternal Hell. It's an utterly preposterous idea. I believe that he damned will go to Hell for for a short period of time, after which they will die. Preaching that you will go to Hell if you don't accept God is the wrong thing to do - you're meant to preach God's love for us. As I said, I'm not denying that there is a hell, but using scare tactics (as I said in an earlier post) is the wrong way to go about it because then their faith is based on fear and not love.

My thoughts on this subject are very similar. Of course what awaits us when we pass away should not be ignored but it should not be shoved in front of non-believers faces as if its some sort of trump card.

Besides, Jesus Christ was preaching to a nation that already believed in God. Pushing the idea's that one has of hell onto a non-believer as a shock tactic will only turn people away from Christ, and what was it that Christ commanded his disciples to do? Spread the Gospel (good news)

I do not see how that video is relevant. I do believe the Gospel in its entirety should be preached but I also believe you need to approach it in a certain manner as to keep them listening long enough to do so. You could scream "convert or die (go to hell)" at everyone who needs guidance but that approach does not seem to work so well here in the west.

People like "turnorburn" make me sick!!!!!

Lostkid, please don't be discouraged thanks to one sided, closed minded people like that. I'm serious let's talk one-on-one, about anything, GOD, music(I bet we like the same stuff) or just life in general.

turnorburn, you and I have gone the rounds before, and I'm happy to do it again!! I will not sit by and watch someone like you condemn this kid to hell!!! Jesus is about love, life, and relationships NOT going around yelling at people while wearing a sandwich board that says GOD hates you! You are the one here that really needs to take another look at Jesus.
