the crannan household doenst do halloween.
All Saints Day origin date: "The origin of the festival of All Saints celebrated in the West dates to May 13, 609 or 610, when Pope Boniface IV consecrated the Pantheon at Rome ..." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Saints'_Day)
they wouldnt have even bothered with the thought let alone production but well the imagery of the shows that showed morality hid the fact that there was a lot of sin behind the scenes.I know what you are saying, Reba. A lot of things have come out of the closet, so to speak. When we were kids noone talked about that kind of evil stuff because our society was so much in tune with God, hard work, and living a righteous life; whether you were a Christian or not. Look at the kid shows on public TV: Roy Rogers, Sky King, Sgt. Preston, Rin Tin Tin, and more with real human beings delivering a moral message. Probably 95% of the commercials we have today would NOT have been allowed then.
Jason, I think that you are referring to the mid-60-70's era when the coming out of the clost occurred. Reba and I were talking of the 50's.
Really? Considering that Satanism has nothing to do with either Satan Worship or Human Sacrifice, I doubt the authenticity of the story. Especially since if there really was a satanic Cult that did Human sacrifices there would be some news stories floating around.I have listened to a man who was endoctrinated into the satanic realm as a boy by his which/warlock father by his dad grasping his son's hands around a sacrificial offering knife and slicing open a human sacrifice in worship of satan.
I think I should point out that Samhain ( or the Catholic renaming, Halloween) is not Satan's birthday, nor is there any religion that I know of that honors Halloween as such. Considering that Satan ( actually lets be more specific, the Devil/ lucifer was an angel and technically doesn't have a birthday). Many other horrible things were shared like being kept like an animal in a corn crib and dead, rotting animals thrown in with him and such. When the boy wanted to reach out for help and rescue he was prevented from going to Christians because of the fact that he knew many Christians who celebrated satan's bithday along with satan worshipers.
No, this is actually wrong in several ways. The Druids were Celts, who we know very little about due the Anglo Saxons decimating them and their culture when they came to what is now England and Ireland. The Anglo Saxons brought with them from Scandinavia the tradition of carving turnips, not as a homoage, but as a trick to ward off evil spits. Its a distraction. Mainly because in Nordic myth there are fire demons that lead people and other demons into be lost.Putting a pumkin out for example, stems back to Europe (Druids) where turnips and such were hollowed out and put on porches as a sign to the evil spirits that that house gave them homage and they would leave them alone.
I really doubt this story is true. Mainly because of the butchered history, the ignorance of the myths, and that no "real" Satanic cults actually exist. When they do, they are very rare and small, sociologists have made several attempts to locate these cults but have found out that most of the time, these cults are actually just myths. Then you have the parties and costumes and such. He, being a boy, was unable to differentiate even probable "innocent" Christian "Harvest parties" and the like from the evil intended. So he grew in evil and such for years because of the mixed messages from the Christians.
I really need to point something out to you man. Focus on the family is known for lying to people for money and donation. This sounds like a really big one. FoF likes to prey on those ignorant of the subject matters they preach against in hopes of scaring their audience into whatever political or monetary venture they are currently seeking.I got this video "Tirck or Treat" from "The Art of Family Living" hosted by Joh Nader. It was one of many Christian videos avail from some Christian source way back when Focus on the Family was just starting (probably why this show ended soon after.) I still have it only not "findable" right now. It also interviewed several "queen" witches from CA, NY, and Europe, I believe. Riding the broomstick thing is an actual practice of witches in satan worship. They circle a coldurn or some worship artifact while placing a broomstick between their legs and "ride" it channeling their "orgasmic energy" to satan.
There is no religion has Halloween as their holiday to worship the Devil. I'm serious. There are however several religions ( Including Christianity and Judaism) that recognize the Solstice and have come up with their own Myths around it.Meatballsub, I made one mistake, I do believe I mispoke about Holloween being satan's bithday. I knew that it was a major day with satan worshipers and as my resources pointed out it it the most important day on their calender.
No, I don't think you understand. There have been no large cases of religious groups that hold human sacrifice in honor of Satan. that can be studied by science. Checking to see through interviews, observation, etc. Dude this is actually pretty simple. If the sociologists who approached the satanists were not true believers in the spirtiual realm and were tyring to explain what they experienced with pure science anything, whether it is Christian or satanic, would be dismissed as a hoax.
Dude, I'll be honest. I don't care. This isn't me being mean, but you not believing in God or Gods has nothing to do with a video lying to you about basic history and whether or not there are cults of people running around doing human sacrifices in honor of the Devil. Nothing, nadda, zip.I was that way one time. I was an athiest and turned agnostic for a while as I started to be aware of the unexplainable spiritual realm at work around me. While I was an athiest it was so easy to dismiss spiritual things as a hoax.
The first thing is that this doese not prove that these people are worshipping Satan. Second, do you have anything other then your word that this is happening?Police depts around the US have found animals in woods which show evidence of having been ceremonially slaughtered.
Yes it is, and usually it has nothing to do with Satan worship.Human sacrafice is rare.
I don't care about coulda shoulda woulda. Also a forensic team can easily tell the difference between knife wounds from an accident or murder.Evidence of such could be hidden or disguised as the results of a horrible accident.
Yet there has to be mutilation to get blood. Also, why should we trust this individual? Why has this individual not been arrested for being part of a homicide? Think about that. From what the gentleman shared, the sacrifice was only for blood-letting. The blood was collected and drunk. Mutulation of the body was not mentioned.
Well I'm not aloud to post the stuff on the LGBT since this forum prohibits any positive information towards them. I can link you to historical information on the history of Halloween. Also the Science parts depends on what you already know about Cosmology and Biology.Your other points don't warrant a response. Their lack of credibility is obvious. It would be helpful for your position to provide factual resource.
Don't unwrap it all the way. ;)Oh, by the way, how does one eat a meat ball sub w/o the meat balls flying out all over the place?
