so...yeah, 30...

boring Is when you look up old black and white images of your towns past and arial photos looking for clues of old homes and roads as they were then while you work you find some that and wonder what was. oh wait I do that. I was at such a location where a road in the 40s did lead to a few bunkers that are gone. the aura of that place , I could feel it.
It might sound creepy, but I enjoy looking at photos of places that seem to be standing still in time. Chernobyl has many buildings that are vacant, barely reclaimed by nature, as if they're just waiting for someone to come back. Colorado also has its share of old farmsteads that are broken down, but show obvious signs of what kind of work went on there. We also have "haunted" tunnels near here, and they're interesting to study and look at.

I have thyroid stuff going on too its blehhhhh.I agree with you about the brownie beats chocolate cake anyday .
They told me mine was serious, but then didn't schedule me for an appointment until the end of the month. If I have to show up dead to my appointment, I'm gonna be irritated. At least I can show up eating peanut M&Ms, then.

google earth I do that. I have found a home, I saw it by accident. so I google earthed it, I went to the property appraiser and found it was built in 1958. I then took my wife to that house. its in shambles but my wife loved the time with me.that isn't the only place we have done that. I hunted for the old ww2 bunkers and took her with me. I relied on old stories. pics and found where they should be and the terrain matched with the old fire break still there some of the old road there as well.

Have no clue if mine is they randomly found a 8mm nodule on my thyroid and told me they were common then tested my thyroid level and said it was normal but that was all at the ER.

Many happy returns.

I will be thirty years old next year, which has caused me to pause and consider where I am in life, and where I want to be. I feel that I have matured in many ways in just the last two years, and yet there are parts of my life where I seem not to have matured at all. Still, the realization of entering my third decade has made me take life more seriously, while still not losing the childish nature of that passive aggressive pain in the blessed assurance inner child of mine.

Actually, darkwalker, you'll be entering your fourth decade. On your 30th birthday you will have completed your third decade.

In any event, enjoy your 30s, they can be wonderful years.
