Doubt it. They wanted them out in a week but they said they want there notice, so they got 6 weeks originally.
Landlords couldn't give a flying toss about there tenants.

The system is created as a game, if you can't keep up you can't survive you get left behind, take a look at nations with no welfare.
Why do you think the system had to usher in welfare, because they know if they didn't there would be a massive uprising because 99% lose the game in the end and only 1% win.

yeah...the whole point of the "safety net" is to keep the 99% happy enough to avoid serious problems. I think that's something the GOP in the US doesn't get. Germany became the first modern nation with a safety net in the late 19th century because of serious pressure from a strong Socialist movement. To keep capitalism going strong, the German government adopted some socialist concepts to "take the edge off" capitalism.
What bothers me about the US...the GOP has declared war on the poor. Its rough. If it wasn't for my (thankfully, now "genteel") family, I'd be up the creek without a paddle. I think its worse in the south. The Bible Belt ("1,000 miles, 1 inch deep") pretty much has a caste system. The class you're born into is the class you'll stay in, more or less. Sadly, that's increasingly true of more and more of America. Upward mobility is largely a thing of the past.

The war on poverty exactly hasn't worked. Might want to look at state History of local county assistance to the poor.
Often at prior to the war on poverty the poor were helped at the state level and county.I won't be getting any or much ss at age 65 if things don't change.

Its just rigged. Its all good people having things but when one person has 60 billion dollars, 100 houses, for every 10 million people who have nothing its crooked.
There needs to be some sort of cap on ownership and income.
I have nothing against the rich, just the crooked system.
Its just unfair advantage a single person can buy out and own half a nation and all the land. There's 7 billion people in the world. We will all get kicked out into the ocean soon.

The government here on a federal level cant provide fir the poor in the constitution. The Supreme Court basically said you may tax the poor to give them income and health care.the states will do the same but they have the enumerated power.nothing the government gives can't be taken first.since both the aca and ss are taxes on all its a no brainer why it doesn't really help the poor.ss and ssdi are taxable income if you make more then lowest tax bracket.so it encourages poverty .

I don't expect the government to support anyone but people are becoming more and more dependant on the system as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
The establishment is sold out to the corps thou, that's why its illegal to have a natural herb and you get thrown in prison why mega pharm corp are the biggest drug dealers on the planet pumping billions of people and making billions selling mind altering synthetics.They don't want competition because they know natural herb cures 90% of disease and issues.
And fishing no trade or selling your legal catch, they know it will screw up the corporate sector as competition.
Look at the outrage on legal uber from taxi corp who get bailed millions on tax payer dollars because they had competition.
They ban anything that effects a corporations profits or give the billion dollar business’s tax payer compo.
