Why is it that so many find it difficult to accept that Jesus has expectations of those who have been saved? We so much desire to be our own god.

Good question...which I also ask myself.
I find many are afraid of the word "obey".
Then I'm asked if I think I'm sinless....
So we're at two extremes...
Some think we don't need to obey so they don't need to feel responsibility for their actions....?

MAYBE some think they don't sin? I certainly don't.
I'm more aware of sin AFTER I became born again.
God is perfect, and we're far from it. So we should appreciate even more what He did for us. To whom much is given.....

serious the osas doctrine if lived right is no more dangerous than any other . yes you have those who take it to the extreme . but that dont make it right .i have met many osnas people living the fleshly life style.. but in their own word were still saved

i think you know the answer we are told to grow in the grace and knowledge.. salvation is more than just a one time experience. your forum name tells us the answer work in progress changed from glory to glory . a relationship is built .

Never the less, the truth remains unchanged regardless of who is walking in it or not.

which doctrines would that be? the Bible is my doctrine there is security in our salvation kept by the power of God if one is living a hellish lifestyle no repentance no nothing .. they never was saved a true Child of God will return .. i had a bad day yesterday and today operating the machine in my dept . i fought with it fought with it. got mad used a swear word... did i lose my salvation ? look at the title

No brother, you didn’t lose your salvation.

Jesus is your salvation.

Jesus doesn’t get lost.


I’m talking about His sheep who stray or wander away from Him.

They can indeed become lost.

God himself, not man, determines this.


His sheep who become lost, need to return to Him and be reconciled of remain lost.


Lost people need salvation.

Very simple.


If the Lord moves us to go after such person to turn them back to Christ, we must tell them the truth.

God loves them and so do we, but if they continue in their sinful lifestyle they will lose their eternal soul.

People say RIGHT OUT that they could TURN THEIR BACK ON GOD and still be saved.

Someone that is saved can turn their back on God rather than continue walking with Him and being obedient to His Word. Obeying our Savior is the least we can do.

Even belivers turn their back on God.

You should go read the stuff I've been hearing.

i highly doubt that person is saved - anyone can post on the internet - atheists love posing as christians and saying crazy stuff - on atheist forums they coach each other on how to mess with us - and christians fall for it - i don't think you can judge a denomination or a doctrine by what one person says - a person who probably is a pretender - if this is what osas was then all osas people would be talking the same and they are not - atheists love getting christians all tied up in knots - don't fall for a person like this - they are clearly unsaved
