We did not have a computer in our family a long time after everyone else did.The kids teachers would tell them their papers need to be done on computer so then their dad finally broke down and bought one.We had AOL "You've Got Mail"![]()

I wonder what happens to the very poor who never hear about Christ. I mean, its not their fault, right?
We really do not know what the percentage is for those who have truly been born again since God looks at the heart. It would be judgemental for us to make that statement.I went to a Christian blog recently. She (maybe he) wrote that maybe 4-5% of the world is Born Again. I find that horrifying, but...it kind of rings true, just based on how people behave and what I've seen over the course of my life and around me now, in the Bible Belt ("1,000 miles wide, 1 inch deep).
Born Again Christianity is inherently counter cultural, no matter the culture. There is also, like Gary pointed out, the issue of poverty and all that entails. I wonder what happens to the very poor who never hear about Christ. I mean, its not their fault, right?
Back to the initial post...Born Again Christianity never was a popular belief system or lifestyle, and its becoming less so, as best I can tell. Lots of people report a "Born Again experience," but they have no behavior and no Biblical Worldview to back that up. Part of it is individual failing, part is a real lack of discipline, part is our culture, part is...I dunno. I was raised nominally Calvinist, so sometimes I'm tempted to believe that God chooses His people (...and the sheep know His voice...).
I've been to one or two other Christian forums. I didn't care for them, honestly. layout, the people involved, all that...just not my thing....
Romans 2:1-16

What about those who never heard or read that passage.

The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature Romans 1:20 and in the hearts of people Ecclesiastes 3:11.What about those who never heard or read that passage.

Only God knows.Ever wonder how many church goers since the beginning of time have gone to church their whole lives but were never born again.
I wonder.
yeah...I was thinking about this the other night, while praying...
..its like, OK. Its great that we have churches. Yay, churches. But something is lost when Christianity gets too respectable, too conventional, too close with the surrounding culture. Being Born Again isn't just an experience; its a way of life, of looking at the world. I think many churches "proclaim a form of godliness, but lack the power thereof," probably more so these days than in generations past. We have mainline denominations accommodating gay elders, gay marriage, etc. Clearly, something is amiss.
Ramble, ramble, ramble...it seems that many are like that eunuch, somewhere in the NT. They need people to show them the way, from beginning to the end of their lives, but especially at the beginning...and we don't have a whole lot of those people around, it seems.
Why does it scare you?The Bible tells us what man's heart is going to be like in the end times. And that scares me, the spiritual condition of these people. But keep in mind this is prophesied 2 Thess 2:3.
If you're are truly born again, you thank God every day that he cared enough to save a wretch like you and me. Isa 64:6.
These mega churches are supersize me. Make everything flashy and let's hope you like me.
