Sovereignty and a God that can be Moved

Eph. 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Do you believe it?

There's a lot of scripture that says the same. Try to make an attempt not to blind yourself to them. For those that are not His, this truth is very offensive and they will go to great lengths to convince themselves that it isn't true.
The suggestion here is that those who do not see things JM's ways are not believers. In previous threads, he has essentially called dissenters (to his view) "wicked". To try to carry the debate by casting aspersions on the motives of one's opponent is something I would have thought we might have risen above. I think it is much more constructive to present actual coherent arguments and let the arguments "do the talking".

JM: What is a secondary cause, please?

In the spirit of evenhandedness, I hope to provide my own 'overall' understanding of the Biblical relationship between human free will and God's sovereignty. With something on the table, perhaps the debate can get more focused.

That sounds great, Drew. I'm looking forward to reading that. :)

Sounds good, if one uses Bible only, & at least 'short' ideas from alive 'sincere' people like yourself. And common 'lay' (street?) moral talk? I get tired of ALL the other stuff if you know what I mean?

JM, if you can't give a clear explanation of the concept then you obivously don't understand it. Do you think it's a good idea to preach something that you don't even understand?
