Superbowl! Who will win?

I hate that games start late. I guess west coasters like it better. It's 12:55 pm Eastern time—I'm ready for football now! I guess I'll take a nap. :sleep

Well, my "Kiss 'O Death" continues. I just jinxed the Jets into a loss. Since I'm rooting for the Saints I guess that's a good sign for the Vikes.

And BTW, what genius choose The Who to be the halftime act at the Super Bowl? Half of them are dead and they haven't really done anything of note in years. Don't get me wrong, I'm a classic rock guy and all but come on, they could've done better.

Hey, the Jets played a pretty good game. They had me wondering just a bit. I never get really worried about my teams until middle of the 3rd though.

Dude, regarding the late start, here's an honest-to-goodness true story: My hubby worked for DirecTV for a while. One time he got a call from this woman in NYC. She wanted him, my own sweet hubby, sitting in Boise ID, to "reschedule" the Rose Bowl, yes THE ROSE BOWL, because it came on too late for her. He spent a few minutes trying to explain why he couldn't do it, then she put in a complaint about "poor customer service". :lol

I was going to root for the Saints tonight, but for some reason, some long lost sentimentality within me awoke and I'll be pulling for the Vikings. Doubt they'll win, but I'm rooting for them anyway. Dad really liked the Vikings back in the Fran Tarkenton days. I remember being really little and cheering them on, not because I knew a thing about the game but because Dad was so excited about it.

So, if the Vikings win tonight, I'll chalk it up to you, Dude! :lol

Still think the SuperBowl will be the Colts over the Saints.

I think a "wardrobe malfunction" with Pete Townsend would be even more traumatic than Janet Jackson's. :crazy

LOL! Well, at least it seems as if Roger stays in pretty good shape. It would be weird to hear them play "My Generation" though at their age, but rock on dudes!

Oh, and another thing, I hate all these domes and artificial turf. I want steam coming off a player's head this time of year while it's snowing!

Wow, what a good game between the Saints and Vikings. However, I think that last call that was challenged was wrong. There was no way that receiver had possession of the ball when he landed, but nonetheless I don't think it changed the outcome of the game at all.

Colts over Saints! Yep, it's gonna be the Colts over the Saints.

I have nothing against the Saints, but we lived in Indiana when we stole the Colts from Baltimore, so I'm rooting for the Colts.

Minnesota lost that game for themselves in the last half. :bigfrown

Oh well. Colts over Aints!!!! :D :salute

Well, Dora seems to have a good grasp on how this is playing out so I'm hesitant to go against her pick but I have to for one important reason: The Saints uniforms are so much nicer. I always loved that Fleur-de-Lis and they have three colors (Gold, black & white) as opposed to the two color Colts uniforms. 3 > 2, ergo Saints win.

But I'm wrong 90% of the time so if you are pulling for the Colts that's good news.

Now that only two teams remain, clearly Indianapolis will win the super bowl. Manning is the best quarterback in the business, and New Orleans will not have that noisy crowd pulling for them.

The gamblers are making the Colts a four-point favorite, meaning that it's too close to call.
