I want to note that I am very confused and what I'm writing is something I don't want to believe and I'm looking for answers, NOT writing against Christianity, on the contrary, I wish to debunk this doubt
Recently I saw I video regarding Gnosticism
Also just recently found out about mark of the beast
I always considered myself a Christian but I just started really being engaged in my religion and truly learning about it
Which brings me to many questions and doubts about what is right
I was learning towards completely surrendering to the lord than terryfilng video found me about Gnosticism, awakening my doubts and fears
Long story short, to put it simply, it says that God that we know it isn't the real God but a demierge
My interpretation of the theory is that we were non biological souls and a false God fell and trapped us in a mortal world in a shape of human form of flesh
It says that he wants to rule therefore asks for complete obedience of humans and that the true God wouldn't ask for that yada yada
Which brings us to the mark of the beast which I briefly suspected to be islam
The sign they wear on forehead and right hand translates to 666 and their method is beheading that is said Wil crush upon us before the rapture
Also makes sense that the mark would be giving up on God and transitioning to another religion and following false prophet Muhammad that they say will be back
I found myself thinking a horrifying thought that what if, God forgive me, Jesus was the prophet, he was mortaly wounded and got back to life that we thank the God for
We follow him because of that and we accepted cross
What if cross is the mark, if gnostic were right
We use are right hand during prayer and there is the act of drawing a cross on our forehead
What if we pleaged our aleagance (I can't spell it English is my second language) to a demierge, by that unable to break free and go to the true god
Which would also make sense wearing a symbol that was in a way symbol of doom (of christ)
I find it hard to put everything to words because it feels like blasphemy writing this

Greetings.

Any advocation of Gnosticism is banned at this forum because it is a wicked heresy, and a Satanic counterfeit to the true version of Christianity handed down by the New Testament apostles. It is what those who serve the Devil often hide behind when seeking to con others into believing they are "Christians" with.

I mention Gnosticism a little in a recent Bible study, if you would like to read it.

I'd be thankful if someone more informed than me would debunk it by, so to say, facts
The problem is also the gospels that allegidaly weren't included in the Bible
What scares me is not seeing the full picture
Biggest possibility is that it's just one of satans means of deception but what if we don't know the full story
That would question everything
I repeat, I just found out about this and I am genuinely questioning it, not promoting
Most videos on YouTube I've briefly checked out were explaining Gnosticism in detail which only send more doubts my way
Also I'm interested in theories about mark of the best, latest one that made sense if the cellphone

Welcome to the site !
The bible has all we need to know about surrendering to God and being rewarded with eternal life.
Researching other "isms" just dilutes one's perception of the truth, and raises questions about the bibles integrity.

Stick with..."Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength: and love your neighbor as you love yourself." (Luke 10:27)
You can't go wrong with that.

What scares me is not seeing the full picture

I see the full picture, and I was expressing it to you in the previous post. Gnosticism was concocted by demonic spirits of false religion and then planted in the mind of a perverted sorcerer named Simon the Magician, who then invented a completely false version of "Christianity" that incorporated the use of witchcraft and sexual perversion. The entire religion is a lie from start to finish, and it in no way resembles true Christianity.

I understand that
What I'm trying is to see it for myself because it's a scary theory to someone just beginning their path in religion I don't like my question and I'm trying to go through that with fellow people in Christianity who might have heard more about the topic

What I'm saying is this: I've heard a LOT about the topic - quite educated in it - and it's not something true Christians condone even giving an ear to. It's something scripture commands to shun, and to silence, because of it's deeply demonic nature.

It's kinda like lending your ear to demons. You cannot help but be lied to and deceived, because the source itself is evil.

I could see if I can find some good material on it from the Christian perspective, however, if you would like?

Sure that would be nice
And it does seem like one of satans lies, that's why I'm quite uncomfortable about it and decided to post, opposed to dwell on it myself and possibly giving into the lie
I usually just close my ear to any type of similar denounciation and won't even hear about it but I clicked on the video ready to laugh at the theory and found myself terrified by it making sense in some sort of way
I do see it as presumably being one of satans lies

Also if you know any videos or articles that have a plausible theory about mark of the beast I'd be interested to read it
It has been messing with my mind lately

Reading through your questions, I'm inclined to just suggest that you stop digging into what you have already admitted yourself to be garbage. Jesus warned of this when He said to beware of leaven of false teachings for even a little leaven will leaven the whole lump. In other words, don't give ear to it at all because it only serves to lead one astray.

If you want to know the whole story, pick up a Bible and read it, study it, meditate upon it, pray about it, and open your mind and heart to let the Holy Spirit lead you. I would start with the New Testament.

You recognise what you've heard as a lie, so stop digging into it. Accept what John 10:28:28+29 says, that nothing can snatch you out of Jesus's hand.

May zi suggest contacting:-

God's Soul: In reading your posts one thought struck me strongly. Anything that leads us into irrational fear is not coming from the Lord. Your posts are full of irrational fear. "What if? What if?"

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love". (1 John 4:18)

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". (2 Timothy 1:7)

Satan uses fear. And he uses doubts that lead to fear. It's the way he works.

So---- "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4: 7). Submit to the Word of God---reject all this "conjecture" and unfounded questioning.

I have found this verse to be 100% true: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus". (Phil. 4: 6,7)

God bless you my friend---may you find peace in Jesus. The proven and true Messiah.

I appreciate
I want to add also that I am not trying to insult anyone
I actually feel insulted myself at the question but I'm just trying to understand
It's the path towards belief I guess
Hello God's Soul, first off, since I see that you are a new member, WELCOME TO CF :gtingz

Seeking after the truth (especially about God/His word/the faith) is a very important part of being a Christian. I remember doing so when I became a new believer (a little over 38 years ago), and I am still doing so today.

In fact, as the Lord Jesus tells us in the Bible,

John 8
32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

You chose to follow Christianity and the God of the Bible for a reason, yes, so if I may, I'd like to suggest that you try to set aside the other, competing "voices" for a time (like those that you've found on YouTube) and listen to God's voice exclusively for now (which you can do by reading the Bible and talking/praying to Him about what you read, by going to church and listening to sermons on the Bible, by asking your pastor other believers in church about things that you don't understand or are simply wondering about, and/or by talking to your fellow believers here).

Then, when you have more knowledge and a better understanding about what Christianity actually teaches and why, you will be far better equipped to decide if it is Christianity or its detractors who are lying to you!

May God continue to bless you as you seek to find Him and know Him :)

p.s. - there is a Christian Q & A website that has a number of short articles on "the mark of the beast". They are not as sensational as what you'll find on YouTube, but if you want to know the truth about him (the beast and his mark), I believe that this is a good place to start (in fact, GotQuestions.org is a GREAT place to find short/concise answers about all kinds of Biblical and theological questions, as well as a great place to begin a deeper study of a Bible passage or topic too, so I highly recommend it :)).

Here's a link to one of their articles on the topic of the mark of the beast, and you will find additional links to other, similar articles at the bottom of this article, as well. Also, some of their articles include videos, so if you'd prefer to watch and/or listen to them instead, you can (and just FYI, the text of the article and the text of the videos are identical). Enjoy 🙂

One last thing, if you are planning on reading the Bible, but you don't know where to begin, I'd suggest the Gospel of John as a starting point. It would also be a good idea for you to write down questions that you have as you read along, then you can ask your pastor about them (and bring them to us too, if you'd like).

Hi God's Soul

Here are a few scriptures that speak about the deception Satan uses through false religions like Gnosticism that teach heresies against the true God of all creation and His Son Christ Jesus. Satan is very clever and loves to prey on the minds of those who are yet very young in the Lord without much knowledge. It would do you best to quit watching all these videos and get into the Bible to understand who God and Jesus are and what our relationship is with them.

2Cor 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2Cor 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
2Cor 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1Peter 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

A mark can mean a visible impression, identifying seal, inscription or label and also the thoughts of the mind and actions of the hand. The mark of the beast is just that which is full of political self governed power that disguises itself as a religious system full of symbolism that is very deceptive to those who have no Spiritual discernment. From its throne will be displayed many signs and wonders that will promise peace and safety during the time of great tribulation as Gods wrath will be poured out during the seven trumpets sounding. Many will take this mark believing it to be a visible sign of God, but with a great falling away from God will be deceived and separated from God forever, Rev 13, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

The mark of the beast is to those who have no understanding of the word of God as they reject the teachings of Christ as they are lovers of self, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, and will allow themselves to be deceived in their mind as they reach out with their hands and bow down to this Luciferians false religion that promises them provision, peace and safety during the time of Gods great wrath in the end of days as they have no faith in Jesus who supplies all our needs, Philippians 4:19.

John saw a beast (beast is often referred to as nations in scripture) rise up out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns, (crowns denotes Kings) and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. The beast rises up out of the sea as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. This beast is a Luciferian system of political, economic, military, environmental, educational and false religious power that Satan has always worked through.

The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire.
Seven remaining nations that still exist today:

Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon. This Empire ran from 2000BC - 1759BC

Medo Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire. This Empire ran approximately from 536BC - 330BC

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire: (little horn, Daniel 8:9-14, 23-27)
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.
This Empire ran from 753BC -27BC

The beast was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies and power was given unto him to continue for three and a half years which equals 1260 days, Daniel 7:25; 12:7; Revelation 11:2, 3. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them and power was given him over all kindred's, and tongues, and nations. Daniel 7:24, 25 and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, He will think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Another beast comes up out of the earth that looks like a lamb (false Christ) with two horns. The two horns represent the Old Roman Empire that received its deadly wound back in 1798 that caused them to scatter into the other ten nations (horns). The wound was healed in 1929.

Here is the patience and the faith of the saints as they wait upon the Lords return as they are told to flee when the beast takes his throne in Jerusalem as God has a place prepared for them. They will have to wholeheartedly draw on the Lords strength without hindrance while enduring the 3 1/2 years of this beast in the end of days.

I wasn't online for quite some time but want to say I'm very appreciative of your kind words
Since my last post my faith became stronger and I became a bit more knowledgeable
Another video struck me and all of those things are like a blockage for me to truly focus and follow my religion
I am somewhat aware I should shun the voices and look straight ahead but it's hard
It's hard when you're confused it's hard with all of the foul voices and people and videos netting this theories and explanations that start making sense in some way
I would highly appreciate if someone was to look into a video and converse about it, most of the people in the comments support it, I hopely want clear arguments and sober disscusion from fellow Christian people
I will post a video bug since I'm not sure if it's allowed if it's removed everyone who might want to help me you can let me know to send it to you in Dm
The name of the video is "The Bible is not about God" from Bible story
I know it's a heretical title as a video itself but I think one of the reasons forum and community exists is that everyone should be able to ask questions
When I posted awhile ago I felt a bit judged and as if I had no support but I'm going to try again
Also again I would appreciate if someone was to truly be interested to have a conversation about this not simply say that it's wrong and I shouldn't pay attention
If there was anything I did learn is that faith Isa parth and you don't really stop learning - I need to understand it for myself, hopefully with the help of any fellow human who wants to help, as well as God
