How can anyone pull against Peyton Manning? The HOUSTON TEXANS!
I still believe OUR Detroit Lions will win the Super Bowl. I'll check the Las Vegas odds (For entertainment purposes only), but they must be the odds-on favorite.
EDIT - Something's not working with the Las Vegas odds, because the Lions are not the favorite at this point.![]()
I lost my sports news, so I can't tell you what the odds are here in Reno. Online, I'm getting Detroit at anywhere from 250-1 to 500-1 odds to win the Super Bowl. I'm not a betting man, but I might give you five to one.
Maybe the odds are correct. I believe that means the Lions are 250-500 times as likely to win the Super Bowl as any other team.
When they beat Green Bay at Lambeau Field this Sunday, which is a lock, I'll guess they will be set at 750 times as likely to win it all. It's great playing meaningful football in December. I feel bad for all those teams that have already given up and are looking to the 2013 Draft like B**rs fans.
Side note - My son and I were begging the 49ers and the Rams to end up in their 2nd tie in the same season. That would have been awesome!![]()
That is quite the dreamworld you are living in there, Mike. ;) :yes
AKA a coping mechanism. It's the only way a Lions fan doesn't wind up on the edge of the roof of a tall building after a life of this. :gah
All that matters is the Lions are apparently 500 X more likely to win the Super Bowl than Green Bay.![]()
That is one way to look at it.
I do feel for ya, though. I did have to endure the 80's as a Packer fan.
Poor, poor Knotical. You had to endure some bad football in the 80's.I can't imagine going a whole decade without having good football. I tell ya what. I'll get a canoe and a paddle, and you go ahead and cry me a river. :gah
And worse yet, Las Vegas odds say the the Lions are 500X as likely to win the Super Bowl as your hapless Packers. It ain't easy being green.
