The army of the gentiles

Rev 11;2
But the court which is without the temple leave out,and measure it not,for it is given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Luke 21;20
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Daniel 11;31
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Daniel 8;12
And a host was given him against the daily sacrice by reason of transgression, and itr cast down the truth to the ground;and it practiced, and prosperd.

I'm not sure what your point is, Shilohsfoal.

Indeed, as you quoted from Rev. 11:2, there will be the court of the Gentiles in the new Temple complex. And it further says Jerusalem (the holy city) will be tread on (controlled) by the Gentiles for 42 months, the last half of the tribulation period. This, I believe, is yet future.

Then you quote Luke 21:20 which speaks of Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, and that desolation is near.
That, to me, is Jesus foretelling the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem in 70 A.D. by the Roman army.

In Dan. 11:31, "arms" no doubt means troops to help the AC set up the "abomination that makes desolate." Accomplished in the middle of Daniel's 70th week, known as the 7 years tribulation.

Compare Luke 21;20-21 to Mt 24;15-16
Both are speaking of fleeing Judea.Even Luke 21;21 concerns the abomination of desolation.

I was just comparing scripture as I often do.
There has been a discussion in another thread about who makes fire come down out of heaven in the sight of the beast.I had stated this army mentioned here does.Through my studies and comparisons of scripture Ive learned the abomination of desolation is the mark of the beast.Though the christians in Judea will not recieve the mark and would follow Jesus instruction to flee Judea or they would die rather than recieve it,most jews in Judea would recieve it because they dont believe Jesus is the Christ. In fact they are considerd antichrist according to scripture.

Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Mat 5:13 ¶ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Rev 11:1 ¶ And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.

Those in Gods house who stay in the court or city and do not come in unto HIM in the temple have lost their savour and do not get measured, they get trodden under the foot of men.- We need to remain in the holy of holies with the Father, and at his altar worshipping within.
