At an Easter service when people were going up and pinning red pieces of paper with their current sins written on them onto a large wooden cross, an elderly gentlemen noticed a six year old girl proudly wearing this beautiful shiny new cross her father had just given her. So he leaned down and said to her, "You know Jesus wasn't crucified on a shiny new cross, but on an old wooden one." The six year old girl looked up at him perplexed and frowning, then looked down at her cross for a moment. Then she looked back up at the elderly gentleman smiling brightly and said in the most innocent of voices, "But when we die on the cross with Jesus we become a new creation, so my cross has now become a new creation too." I cannot tell you how much laughter rang out at her young and wise response, while the elderly gentleman looked dumfounded at her explanation. Oh, the wisdom of the little ones God loves so much. :lol

that guy got told! :lol

But its nice to see God working in the very young ones. :)
