I'm a chatty sort. How was your day.

I got off work less than an hour ago, stopped by the gas station on the way home and got a fountain drink. I saw a family of ducks crossing the road and took a picture of them. Just relaxing now and listening to my "anxiety calm" playlist.

I pretty much have the same routine everyday as my husband and I are retired. Get up in the morning having coffee and checking out CF. If not going to doc visits between my husband, sister-in-law and myself I usually stay home and enjoy playing computer games as I am a homebody type person. Life is what one makes it to be and I try to maintain a happy attitude, with the help of Jesus.

I work as a receptionist, so my hours are pretty set day to day. Typically I work Monday to Friday 7 am to 2 or 3 pm.

I've been in poor mental health all year long, not many people understand. My calming playlist is getting a lot of use, and seems to be one of the better coping mechanisms I have.

I've done a few... nothing elaborate. I'm actually more into roleplay writing these days, it's collaborative and I like the element of surprise that comes with it. As for what fandom currently, ahhh... it's gonna be very controversial for this website. It's a series called Hazbin Hotel, and the character in my avatar is the protagonist, Charlie. She's the daughter of Lucifer, for one, and her mission is to redeem sinners in Hell by reforming them so they can go to Heaven. Very theologically inaccurate, of course, and the show has a lot of adult humor and language. I see it as harmless as a work of fiction, and the themes in the show have had me pondering biblical truths.

If my 2023 me saw this, I would've thought that you've gone insane, and that you should never watch this Satanic show (I'll not watch it still, I just don't like it). Buuuuuut, I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei 1 (through emulation), and I'm having a good time (as long I get new weapons and armors and not getting destroyed by enemies), so that will be a friendly-fire

My mom lost her job due to a car crash and ended up in hospital, then released, but she went back to the ER today (self admitted) with what's probably cellulitis.

People always expect me to be beside myself when stuff like this happens, but I've always handled this kind of thing rather well. It's Normal Everyday Life where I tend to be emotionally unstable. (I wish people expressed similar concern when I spiral for seemingly no reason as they do when Big Stuff happens.)

Anyways.... yeah. Please do pray for my mom.

Days are just going to work or being off from work lately, lol. Hobbies in the evenings if I have the energy.

My mom seems to be more or less recovered from her illness, now it's just trying to get our bills paid while she looks for another job.

Because I always been working fulltime and for some reason im still always broke I decided to semi retire and just work part time now so i am still always broke yet don't have to go to work everyday. It's like a win situation. I can work full time and be broke or work part time and be broke.

Wish that was an option for me! But my job is indoor, front desk... typically lots of downtime unless it's a busy time at the hotel. Works well for my disability, or at least... so far.

I got a random story.

Once upon a time I went to this bar and jsut polite was talking to a woman, and there was not that many people there and I was dancing and having a good time and talking to this woman and suddenly this big dude just grabbed me and ripped my shirt to shreds and then just walked away, and she was like that was just my ex boyfriend we broke up a few days ago. And they eyeing me and giving me signs like this aint finshed, and like giving me the fist.

So now im like needing some diapers thinking im doomed this dude is jealous and like 6'5 300lb and full of muscle and is with like 10 dudes who are 6'5 and full of muscle and the bar was closing and everyone has to leave so we all have to go outside. So now I think i go no option but have to fight and get my ass kicked by a mob of the biggest dudes i ever seen in my life, i mean im afraid.. .

Then this dude was like come with me I will look after you get in the car, and he was with them and was the biggest dude of them all and the only hope i had, and he was speaking to them in some.language I did not understand, so now im really paranoid and my only hope is putting my trust in this big solid dude who is with them saying he will look after me, so I jump in his car and we driving and I look in the rear mirror and there like 5 cars loads of his friends following us, so now im thinking im doomed, and we pull down this side street and now I need teo pairs of diapers, he gets out the car and starts arguing with the other big dudes who get out there cars and pulls a baseball bat on hos friends and starts arguing, and im like this is my time to split, so I jump out the car and just split, and im like jumping fences and end up in some school field.

And I see these cars driving up and down really slow so I call my uncle and like dude you have to pick me up, and these cars were driving around looking for me, and I seen my uncle and jumped in and we split.

The End.

Just got rejected by a Christian woman and she explicitly said it was cuz I was black, normal day here.

Its like when a woman says she wants a dude who is tall, dark, and handsome as that is what she finds attractive, well that ain't me so im automatically rejected, I'm short, white, and not very handsome.

Funny I've heard the tall black and handsome thing, although mainly for people in the black community. Where I am it's the opposite, the white guys get all the attention.

I'm kinda double whammy because (while ultimately don't factor race into what is to be desired in a Godly relationship) I'm extremely attracted to white or light skinned women, but you don't find many who are attracted to black guys, unless they're very ghetto or are obese, which I am not attracted to either.

No hate or bigotry towards them just the lifestyles won't match.
