We are told that the witnesses are killed and three and one half days later God's Spirit enters them and "great fear fell upon them which saw them."
To me that was always a marker in time. When we see that event we know the end has arrived. But, we must consider...
Another consideration is....the great city isn't in one location. Will the witnesses be killed at the same time around the world and then the three and one half day countdown begins? Wouldn't we then know the day?
- Revelation 11:8-9 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
To me that was always a marker in time. When we see that event we know the end has arrived. But, we must consider...
- Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Another consideration is....the great city isn't in one location. Will the witnesses be killed at the same time around the world and then the three and one half day countdown begins? Wouldn't we then know the day?
