The Derailing Thread

Ok, my oil leaks in the car's breather covers are gonna get fixed. Took the valve covers off and then took the breather covers off the valve covers - degreased and washed - now drying in front of the dehumidifier. Next step is to RTV seal the breathers to the valve covers (cause Mercedes didnt use the right stuff....) then put them back on the car.

A look under the valve covers reveals that the engine is WAY cleaner inside than outside..

I don't know what it is, but sometimes little noises really irritate me for reasons I can't pinpoint. It isn't always the case.

It's so cold I'm wearing my hoodie in the house. (Went and turned on the heater. Yesterday was almost spring-like, so it's not like we have the heater running constantly.)
